As a retired engineer, I know how important it is to have a fundamental knowledge of mathematics. So many foundations of our daily lives are based on science and technology and math forms the base of those subjects. It's important for our kids to learn, and hopefully enjoy, math early in their education so they can pursue the careers that interest them. As an instructor at Mathnasium, I'm happy to be a part of that process.

I am a student at St. Kate’s majoring in Mathematics and Data Science. Ever since I was a kid I have loved math! I know how important having a positive experience is when it comes to succeeding in and enjoying math. As an instructor, I try to make learning math fun (or at least not overwhelming) for the kids I work with. I love seeing kids’ passion for learning and watching all of the kids grow their math skills and confidence.

Hi! I'm Madeleine. I've been attending Mathnasium as a student for 7 years! Math was always something I wanted to teach kids because it opens their minds to a new way of thinking. I try my best to help create a safe space for kids to learn.

Hi! I am a student at St. Catherine University. I am studying Mathematics, and I am aspiring to be an Algebra teacher! Whenever I'm not studying, you can find me at the roller-skating rink or playing my cello. I've loved math since I was able to count. I find it not only important, but also rewarding to pass that love for math down to the next generations. I love seeing that "Aha!" moment when a concept clicks in anybody's head, and I hope to see this a million times over as I work with all of the students here.
