Summer

Summer is the best time at Mathnasium. There's no distraction from homework and school activities. The kids come in fresh and eager and we just try to have a good time catching up and/or getting ready for next year. Best of all, the kids avoid the "summer slump" that is so well documented.

Whatever level of math your kids are up for next year, we have a program for them. Whether it's Jump Start 2nd (3rd,4th....) Grade, or Algebra or Geometry Preview, or Algebra Review, our summer workouts are designed to get them ready.

Summer plans are priced at 20, 1-hour sessions (we also offer partial summer plans). Price includes a full assessment and learning plan.

Scheduling is completely flexible - you may schedule your 1-hour visits as they fit into your summer plans in any configuration.

Prices for full summer package, 20 visits, and full assessment:

  • Going into 2nd-5th Grade: $549
  • Going into 6th-8th Grade: $599
  • Going into 9th Grade and up: $649
  • $75 discount for siblings

Prices for partial summer plans (including full assessment):

  • Going into 2nd-5th Grade: $30 per visit
  • Going into 6th-8th Grade: $32.50 per visit
  • Going into 9th Grade and up: $35 per visit
  • $2.50 per visit discount for siblings

Hours:

  • 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday thru Friday
  • 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday thru Thursday

Summer Session 2012 is from June 11 to August 31. We are closed July 2- 6 for the Independence Day holidays.

School Year

For Students from 2nd through 12th Grade:

Mathnasium Membership

Program Highlights:

  • We will do an initial assessment and create a customized learning plan and courseware tailored to your student's needs
  • Students attend 2 or 3 scheduled hourly sessions per week. They receive individual instruction and guided practice with their math program.
  • We also provide "Homework Help", so if students need help with an assignment, or getting ready for a test, or just an explanation of the math lesson in school today, we will provide that, too.  

Fees:

  • Monthly Fee with no minimum enrollment:
    • Elementary thru PreAlgebra  - $199
    • Algebra and higher  - $249
    • There is a discount of $25 per month for siblings.
  • Assessment testing and Registration Fee:
    • $95 (One time charge)

 

For students who just need occasional help and are currently in Algebra and above:

Mathnasium Tutoring Plus

Program Highlights:

  • For students who just need occasional "Homework Help".
  • Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalc, and Calculus
  • We will also provide supplemental Mathnasium courseware as needed, if additional explanation or practice makes sense.
  • Scheduling is flexible. Just use us when you need us. Online appointment scheduling 24/7.

Fees:

  • $35 for a 90 minute session
  • There is no assessment or registration fee for this program

 

For students who need help preparing for standardized tests: SAT, ACT

Mathnasium Test Prep

Program Highlights:

  • We will do an initial practice exam and create a customized learning plan tailored to those areas that need the most focus
  • Our emphasis is on improving your math skills, not on teaching you how to "beat the test"
  • Students receive individual instruction and guided practice with their test prep math program
  • Scheduling is flexible. Just use us when you need us. Online appointment scheduling 24/7.

Fees:

  • You may register for either the monthly fee program: $249 per month - or the hourly program: $35 for a 90 minute session 
  • There is no assessment or registration fee for this program
