Our Team

Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UCLA in 1990. He worked for many years in the Mortgage Banking Industry. Scott has loved Math ever since he can remember and has always enjoyed helping others understand Math. He discovered Mathnasium while looking for a place to help his very advanced son. When he found the Mathnasium website, he realized it was the perfect place for his son as well others who are challenged by Math. After meeting the Mathnasium team, he knew he had to open up a Franchise. He has dedicated himself to helping students of all ages gain a true understanding and love of math. In his free time Scott enjoys playing baseball, basketball and chess. Scott is excited to work for Mathnasium, and wants every student to reach their maximum potential in math.

Ingrid graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from CSU Fullerton and few years later found her true interest was working with children. She fell in love with teaching and became a Credentialed Bilingual Teacher in Pasadena. “I loved teaching kids and getting them excited about learning and showing them how much they could accomplish and excel regardless of their circumstances.” She brings to Mathnasium her diverse experiences and her passion and commitment to education. What attracted her to Mathnasium was their commitment to helping kids understand and love math. She said, “It really impressed me that their primary concern is truly that the kids really grasp math concepts and learn to love it.” Her goal is to spread that message, create a positive attitude and atmosphere toward learning math while achieving and mastering mathematical success in a learning environment. Ingrid enjoys going to Church, exercising, reading, and volunteering in her free time.
