Mathnasium of The Woodlands  wll host our annual Trimathlon Math Contest for 2-5th grades on Saturday November 5th. Participation is free and open to all students—kids do not need to be enrolled in a Mathnasium center to join the fun. All contestants will receive goody bags for their effort and participation, while winners will be recognized with medals and prizes for their accomplishments.

Mathnasium’s Annual TriMathlon is a community event designed to encourage kids in grades 2 to 5 to engage in math while giving back to schools.  Mathnasium will donate money to local schools on behalf of TriMathlon participants, targeting an aggregate donation of about $40,000 throughout the U.S.!
The TriMathlon consists of three events:
•    Magic Squares, where students are awarded points for developing their own math problems.
•    The Counting Game, which tests students’ ability to count from any number, to any number, by any number.
•    Mental Math Workout, which asks students to solve problems without a pencil and paper in order to showcase their number sense.
