James Bohigian
Center Director
James graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 with a BA in English and brings a rich, diverse background in education. His career spans teaching, personal training, and directing summer camps in Saint Petersburg, where he also served as head teacher. These roles have given him a well-rounded view of how students learn and thrive.
Having personally struggled with math as a student, James is passionate about helping others overcome similar hurdles. He believes supporting students in developing their math confidence is essential to their long-term success. Outside of work, James enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking.
Muneeb Ahmad
Assistant Center Director
Muneeb is a George Mason University graduate with a degree in Business and Management Information Systems. During his academic career, he completed several internships, gaining valuable real-world experience. He believes strong communication is key to overcoming academic challenges, especially in math.
At Mathnasium, Muneeb is excited to empower students by helping them build confidence and problem-solving skills. He loves seeing students grow through personalized support. In his spare time, Muneeb enjoys skiing with friends and cooking international dishes that reflect his love of diverse cultures.
Anna Moon
Area Manager
Anna earned her degree in Math with a minor in Education from Marymount University. She began at Mathnasium as an instructor and steadily advanced through roles including Education Coordinator, Assistant Center Director, and Center Director before becoming Area Manager for the Centreville, Reston, and Tysons locations.
Anna’s passion for math and education has made her a vital member of the team. She brings energy, leadership, and a deep commitment to student success. When she’s not working, she loves playing soccer, spending time with her dog Ranger, and going line dancing with friends.
Ben Bramsen
Senior Regional Director
Ben's journey in education began at the Indianapolis Zoo, where he volunteered with marine animals and answered visitor questions about wildlife and conservation. That experience sparked his interest in teaching and sharing knowledge in impactful ways.
At Mathnasium, Ben loves seeing how students grow and progress through the program. He brings a passion for education and a lighthearted spirit to every center he supports. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar (even if a bit poorly), spending time in nature, and exploring new places.
Jeff McCabe
President
Jeff holds a degree in Economics from James Madison University and a Master’s in Education from George Mason University. He spent 10 years teaching high school and college math before moving into leadership roles with national restaurant brands. His career eventually led him back to his true passion—math education—through Mathnasium.
As President, Jeff combines his operational expertise with his love for teaching to help students thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife of 28 years, their two dogs, and visits with their three adult children. His mission remains the same: to change lives through math.

Yes! Mathnasium of Tysons offers both in-center and online tutoring. Students can choose to attend in person at our Vienna learning center or join live, face-to-face sessions online with the same specially trained tutors.
No, there’s no difference between the quality of instruction students receive online and in person. Students who attend online still benefit from personalized learning plans and live instruction from the same caring tutors they would work with at our Tysons center.
We support students in grades K–12 across a wide range of math classes and topics, from early childhood math and early arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry.

At all Temple Ventures centers, we require students to be able to read well enough to work on their own, and to be able to stay focused for the duration of their hour-long visit.
