Jeremy York

Jeremy York

Center Director
Jeremy has been a center director for many Mathnasiums in the triangle area and the Atlanta, GA area for over a decade now. He has his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Methodist University. He has enjoyed helping students grow in their math understanding and really loves seeing a student enjoy math!

Anurag Barua

Lead Instructor
Anurag is a Senior at Enloe High School in Raleigh. He is taking IB Analysis and Approaches HL and has taken Calculus III and Differential Equations I in the past. He loves to run, lift weights, and play the cello. He hopes to study Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and possibly double major in music or math. He has tutored Online and currently tutors in the Brier Creek and Wakefield locations. He loves teaching because of the ability to form relationships with students that extend past mathematics, while also being able to make people comfortable with math.

Amanda Unklesbay

Instructor
Amanda is a high school Math teacher and coach at Louisburg Magnet High School in Franklin County. She has been an instructor at Mathnasium since 2015.

Camden Hall

Instructor
Camden is in her senior year at Wakefield High School. She joined Mathnasium in July 2022. She enjoys helping students grow their understanding and confidence in math.

Mackenzie Book

Instructor
Mackenzie is a junior at Wakefield High School, currently in AP Calculus BC. She is an avid artist, runner, and animal lover. Mackenzie joined Mathnasium in November 2022 and has loved teaching students of all ages, helping them learn to understand and enjoy math.

Maya Shahady

Instructor
Maya is a senior at Heritage High School taking AP Calculus AB/BC. In college, she hopes to major in Computer Science. Her favorite food is sushi, she loves to listen to all music, and going to football games with her dad. In her free time, Maya enjoys hanging out with friends and watching movies. In November 2023, she joined Mathnasium. Maya loves to teach and wants to share her knowledge with students who just love learning or are looking to better their understanding of math. She takes pride in being a part of their educational journey.

Instructor
Ms. Laura is a former teacher and loves all things math! In her free time she loves camping with her husband and 4 kids and, of course, her 2 dachshunds, Travis and Jack.

Our Mathnasium Mission
