Jonathan Harrod

Center Director
Jonathan graduated from UC Riverside with a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Studies and Language & Linguistics. He has always had a passion for teaching and helping others. He enjoys math and history most and is looking forward to the positive impact Mathnasium will have on him as well as the impact he hopes to have on students. He wants to instill in students' minds that math can be fun. In his free time, Jonathan likes to play video games and hang out with his friends. Jonathan’s favorite part about working at Mathnasium is being able to see firsthand how much a difference he’s making.

Melia Nubani

Lead Instructor
Melia graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Mechanical Engineering. She has always enjoyed helping her peers and tutored throughout high school and college. Math has always fascinated her, and one day she hopes to work in a space-related career! During her time off, Melia enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends (and cat!). Melia’s favorite part about working at Mathnasium is seeing how students improve and grow!

Ryan Lov

Instructor
Ryan is currently a student at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Computer Science. In the future, Ryan dreams to work in the computer science industry focusing on web-development. During his time off, Ryan enjoys gaming, hiking, volleyball, and coding. Ryan’s favorite part about working at Mathnasium is watching students have those light-bulb moments and finally understanding a subject. Thank you for being an awesome instructor Ryan!

Analicia Amaya

Instructor
Analicia is currently a Freshman at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in math. Analicia has always loved working with kids, and dreams of being either an elementary or high school math teacher. She also hopes to coach running at the local high school! Analicia wanted to work at Mathnasium because she loves math and has always had an affinity for it! During her free time, Analicia likes reading, running, art, hanging out with loved ones, and exercising!

Ana Beatrix Rivera

Instructor
Ana is currently a nursing student at West Coast University hoping to specialize in pediatrics. She has always enjoyed working with children and assisting parents in any capacity she can. She sees the importance of a strong math foundation as she uses the basics in her nursing courses and as she helps her brother with homework. She remembers struggling in math and hopes to build children's understanding and confidence in the subject. During her free time, Ana enjoys hanging out with her friends, building legos, and swimming. Ana’s favorite part about working at Mathnasium is when the students complete a Mastery Check and get excited to spin the wheel for prizes!
