Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Westchase

AmyLee Pritchard

AmyLee Pritchard is the Center Director for the Mathnasium of Westchase. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Transformational Teaching and Learning. She is currently working on a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership. One Fun Fact: AmyLee began college at 14 years old, and received her AA degree and High School Diploma when she was 17 years old. AmyLee works at Mathnasium because she wants to help students learn to love math as much as she does!

Nicolette

Nicolette is a seasoned educator at Oak Park Elementary School. Nicolette won the Teacher of the Year award for Hillsborough County, Florida in 2024. Nicolette is a Finalist for the Presidential Award of Excellence in Math and Science Teaching for 2024.

Daniel

Daniel has been working with Mathnasium for 7 years!

Sharon

Sharon is a teacher at Enterprise High School. "Enterprise High School is focused on helping kids who are at risk of dropping out of school. Michelle

Michelle teaches the new AP Pre-Calculus class at Alonso High School.

John

John attended Tulane University on a Navy ROTC scholarship. He graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He then served five years in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer onboard a destroyer and an aircraft carrier. He spent two years at University of Illinois at Springfield earning his Illinois teaching certificate in physics and math. John taught high school physics for fifteen years. He still has an active Florida teaching certificate in math, physics and engineering and technology education. Fun Facts: He lives in New Tampa with his wife Sonya and shih-poo (shih tzu miniature poodle) Coco. He makes frequent visits to Busch Gardens and Sea World. John likes sci-fi movies, tv shows and books (especially Star Wars). John works at Mathnasium because he wants to teach students math and physics!

Mr. Price

Mr. Price is a senior! Math has always been his favorite subject. He is a big fan of sports and played on his high school's football team all four years of high school. I work at Mathnasium because I want to give back to the community and help others understand math.

Nicholas

Jada

Alba

Alba loves math and is taking AP Calculus AB, having already finished AP Statistics (earning a 5, yay!). She has a bubbly personality and enjoys working with kids. When not working or studying, she enjoys time with friends and family. Alba works at Mathnasium because she wants to help students grow in math!

Rohit

Rohit previously attended Mathnasium and had completed all Mathnasium Programs, including Pre-Calculus, our SAT and ACT preparation program, and Trigonometry all before he began High School! Fun Fact: I was born in Cincinnati but moved here when I was 4 years old. I choose to work at Mathnasium because I am very passionate about math and enjoy helping others build a deeper understanding.

Sage

Sage did 2 years of the IB Program at Hillsborough High School and is currently taking AP Calculus and holds a 4.0 GPA. Fun Fact: I have an older sister and 2 younger siblings. I choose to work at Mathnasium because I enjoy teaching people new skills and being able to see them do the new things they have learned.

Saanvi

Saanvi attends Hillsborough High School. She is a previous student at Mathnasium and has mastered our curriculum! She does dance and music and is a part of many after school clubs including Tennis. One Fun Fact: Saanvi has never moved anywhere! she has always lived in Tampa. Saanvi works at Mathnasium because she used to be a student at Mathnasium, but gained confidence and skills in math that she can use to help others.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth attends Sickles High School. She grew up in Florida with her sister and brother. She has always loved math and is currently an officer in her school's math club! She enjoys working with children and helping them learn something as challenging as math! One Fun Fact: Elizabeth has 4 cats! Elizabeth works at Mathnasium because teaching kids is something she finds herself being very passionate about. She is also extremely passionate about learning math herself, especially in higher levels.

Krish

Krish enjoys listening to music and doing math. He is a drummer and bassist in a band outside of school and plays tennis. Krish has attended numerous Mua Alpha Theta math competitions, winning individual and team placements! I work at Mathnasium because I was previously a student, ever since the age of 5, and I finished all of Mathnasium's curriculum. I think that it is my responsibility to share and give back the knowledge that I have gained through my years here.

Ashley

Ashley is a senior! Ashley enjoys playing golf and basketball. I work at Mathnasium because I enjoy teaching others and helping make math less confusing.

Katerina

Katerina is a computer science major at the University of South Florida. She has lived in Florida her whole life so she loves to be in her hammock and go outdoors! She has always had an interest in any math area, especially statistics. In her free time, she loves to paint and travel, especially to Greece. That is where her family is from. One Fun Fact: Katerina's favorite animal is a hippo! Katerina works at Mathnasium because she likes working with kids and helping them improve their confidence in math!

Taylor

Taylor recently moved back on campus at Florida State University.
