Power Math Workout

MATHNASIUM “Power Math Workout” Program

Program Highlights:

  •   Includes unlimited one-hour, daily* Power Math Workouts per week with a Mathnasium trained instructor.
  •   Customized Learning Plan and Coursework
  •   Continuing Customization of the Student’s Program
  •   Periodic Written and Oral Evaluations, Progress Reports
  •   Individual Instruction and Guided Practice
  •   Contact with your Child’s Math Teacher
  •  Homework Assistance and Test Preparation
*Algebra I and above students may extend session time to 90 min.  Minimum recommended attendance is 2 timer per week.  Qualifying students may enroll in a one visit per week Enrichment Program option.
First Steps

MATHNASIUM “First Steps” (Pre K – Grade 1)

Program Highlights:

  •   Teaches young learners the foundational skills and concepts of mathematics.
  •   Less about acquiring facts and more about setting up patterns of thought and a process for mathematical thinking: Number Sense.
  •   It’s fun!  Kids will learn and enjoy themselves at the same time.
  •   Twelve 55-minute weekly sessions conducted by Mathnasium trained instructors.
  •   Regular, one-on-one consultation with you on your child’s participation.
  •   Tools and exercises on how to practice “mathing” with your children at home.
Test Prep

MATHNASIUM Test Prep

Program Highlights:

  •   PSAE, ISAT, ACT, SAT, and ISEE programs.
  •   Test Prep specific materials and instruction.
  •   Integrated with “Power Math Workout” program.
  •   Optimizes and enhances test prep specific instruction by concurrently identifying and addressing critical, prerequisite math skills gaps.
  •   Program is tailored to the time the student is able to invest – the more the better!
  •   A better AND very affordable math alternative or supplement to other test prep programs.
  •   Emphasis on developing both skills and CONFIDENCE!
Tutor Plus

MATHNASIUM Tutor Plus (Private tutoring recommended for students grades 11 and up possessing strong foundational skills, adults, and younger students who require private instruction)

Program Highlights:

  •   Includes one-on-one, dedicated tutoring in our Center with an experienced, trained math instructor
  •   Supplemental Mathnasium courseware as needed
  •   Continuing customization of the student’s program
  •   Periodic written and oral evaluations, progress reports
  •   Individual Instruction and guided practice
  •  Contact with student’s math teacher (per request)
  •   Homework assistance and test preparation
