CenterDirectorRohita Shah, Center Director/Owner

Hello! I'm Rohita Shah the Center Director at Mathnasium of Whitefish Bay. Prior to opening this center, I enjoyed working as a project associate for the American Orthopaedic Association. I have a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from University of Illinois. With a background in Orthopaedic Research, I managed a Gait Analysis Laboratory at Rush University Medical Center for several years before deciding to stay home to raise my children. With my own children, I experienced both the frustrations of math and the rewards of overcoming the challenges through the Mathnasium method. Therefore, I'm passionate about helping every child truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. More importantly, I'm committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community.

CenterDirectorDorothy, Instructor

Hello!  My name is Dorothy and I am enjoying being part of the team here at Mathnasium!  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and worked as a systems programmer.  My favorite part in programming was training and teaching others.  This teaching desire led me to home educate my three children which I did for the last twenty years.  My favorite subject to learn and teach has always been math and it was especially meaningful to bring my own children through all areas of math up through high school.  I am excited about teaching at Mathnasium and love to help students grow in confidence and enjoyment of math.  Besides math, I love sewing and teach classes in this as well.  I love kids and look forward to meeting yours!

Robin, Instructor

Hello! My name is Robin, and I am proud to be a part of the team at Mathnasium! I've found it consistently rewarding to see our students grow in mathematical skill and comfort, and I truly enjoy my job. I was salutatorian at Whitefish Bay High School, and after graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in theatre, I began my tutoring career working with public school students applying to Chicago’s prestigious magnet high schools. In 2015, after moving back to Milwaukee, I took up test prep for students taking the ACT and then joined Mathnasium in October of 2016. A pianist of over 20 years, I also enjoy table-top games, biking, and the north woods.

Tim, Instructor

My name is Tim, and I am currently attending Concordia University pursuing a Masters in Computer Science. I graduated this past spring with a degree in Mathematics. What I really like about math is that it shows up almost everywhere you look, from chemistry to music. Everything is connected through math. The key to making it fun is finding how it applies to your other interests. I enjoy a wide variety of activities, including choir, soccer, tennis, photography, hiking, and solving my Rubik's cube. I can't wait to help your child make math exciting!
