Lehigh Valley, PA – DATE:  MARCH 21, 2017

The new Mathnasium of Lopatcong, NJ will celebrate its official ribbon cutting on March 26, 2017. Students of the learning center, their families, and community members are invited to gather in order to welcome Mathnasium to the community. There will be catered food and entertainment for guests to enjoy. Music will be provided by DJ Tom Taylor, a resident DJ who plays radio-friendly music at all of his shows and who is the only local DJ to do a Presidential Inaugural Ball (2004).

Also among the crowd celebrating the grand opening will be Major League Baseball MVP Bobby Shantz. Bobby Shantz is a former MLB pitcher who played with the Athletics, Yankees, Pirates, Colt .45's, Cardinals, Cubs, and Phillies from 1949 to 1964.  He is the oldest living winner of the Most Valuable Player Award, which he won in 1952 with the Athletics. He has had the honor of playing with some of the game's all-time greats, including Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris and Jackie Robinson. He has an electric personality and is excited to be sharing his experiences as a professional baseball player with guests at the Mathnasium ribbon cutting.
