Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Linda, Center Director/Owner
Linda has a Master's degree in math and has taught and tutored children of all ages. She is enthusiastic about helping children to truly understand math by teaching it in a way that makes sense to them. She is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to children in the community.
Justine has a Master's degree and loves helping children learn math. She works as a math assistant at a high school during the school day. Justine loves working with children who have a willingness to learn. She likes trying different ways of explaining a concept until it makes sense to a student. Justine hopes to help students achieve their math goals.
Annette has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. She enjoys working with students. She was an Instructional Assistant with Mt. Diablo Unified School District for 10 years and a substitute teacher for one year. She loves music and sewing, and speaks French fluently. She is looking forward to working with the students at Mathnasium.
Josh has a Master's degree in civil-structural engineering. He has always had a passion for math and frequently collaborated with other students and engineers to better understand the subject. He enjoys encouraging kids and adults to always continue developing their math skills. His favorite part about tutoring is seeing that "light bulb" moment in kids when a math concept finally clicks.
Lauren is a senior at Carondelet High School. She is currently taking AP Calculus. She is President of Carondelet's Math Club and enjoys playing tennis. She loves working with and getting to know the students at Mathnasium.
Ke'olani is a sophomore at Clayton Valley Charter High School. She enjoys playing sports, learning, and spending time with family and friends. She is happy to be working at Mathnasium to gain experience and to learn math methods that can be applied to any level of math. She likes spending time with children, helping them understand concepts and hearing their interesting stories.
Maya is a sophomore at Clayton Valley Charter High School. She swims and plays water polo, and teaches children swim lessons. She enjoys working with children. She is excited to be working at Mathnasium.
Madi is a junior at Clayton Valley Charter High School. She is currently taking PreCalculus and is in the Public Service Academy. She loves helping others and working with children. Outside of school, she dances for the varsity dance team.
Alayna is a sophomore at Clayton Valley Charter High School. She is currently taking Geometry. She is in the Engineering Academy at school. She enjoys volunteering at the Food Bank and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to be working at Mathnasium to help kids learn math skills.
Athena is a junior at Northgate High School and a student at DVC. She is currently taking Calculus I and is a member of Engineers Without Borders. Athena enjoys playing the piano, clarinet, and saxophone. She loves to work with children and help them understand math.
