At Mathnasium, we help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. Children who consistently
attend sessions at our learning centers enjoy a transformative learning experience and make huge strides in the classroom.

My daughter was struggling in Algebra Honors (when I say struggling she had a low B). She is a perfectionist and just felt like she could not pull her grade up no matter how much she tried. Trying to assist her with homework was very challenging and left both of us upset and feeling defeated. After her first session with Mathnasium her confidence rocketed up and she was asking and excited to go back to tutoring. She looked forward to it each week. After only 2 weeks her quiz grades went from low Bs to high As. After 2 months she scored an almost perfect score on the Math EOC (like the STARR) and finished the year with an 89.7. We round up and say it's an A :) I highly recommend Mathnasium to all families who have hit the wall with being able to help their child(ren) with math. Kids are used to parents always telling them what to do or what not to do. My child was not interested or had the patience to listen to me, plus it's been a while since I have done this level math. But, she was all ears and had a great time and rapport with the tutors, and was very eager and open to learning.

Once she started Mathnasium and had a female math teacher at school that she liked, the combination resulted in her enjoying learning math, gaining a ton of confidence, and performing extremely well in school and on tests. It was a total turnaround. We'll keep her at Mathnasium so that the momentum continues.

I think it is a great program. It doesn’t work if you have an athletic kid who is busy with two sports and multiple games and practices a week. I enjoyed the virtual sessions but was frustrated when I could not find classes for the times we had. Felt like I had to book weeks in advance to have a chance but I would never know her schedule. She did better in math though because your program works.

Before our daughter attended Mathnasium, she did everything possible to avoid math and quickly fell behind. Her understanding of math concepts was truly hit or miss and her test performance was dismal. Since going to Mathnasium, she is now one of the top scoring students in her math class. In fact, her performance improved so dramatically that when the State of Texas passed a bill to have students who failed to perform at grade level on the STAAR test attend 30 hours of remedial tutoring, our daughter's math teacher recommended she not attend the additional tutoring because she was already attending Mathnasium and was excelling in her math class at school. Mathnasium significantly improved her understanding of math concepts, her performance on math tests, and her motivation to learn. It surpassed our expectations. We originally signed her up for 12 months, but I don't see any reason to actually end her attendance at that point. If anything, she'll keep attending for the next several years so that she truly masters the concepts and is comfortable with how to apply them.

Our son was really struggling with his confidence in math. The tutors did amazing with them. Aaron was great at following up with us and the entire team helped our sons confidence bloom. We saw immediate progress in his grades and even his teacher offered great feedback on his improvement. It was worth the investment for us.

My daughter sees herself as a mathematician because of the confidence offered in Mathnasium sessions. Even if math is hard, she never doubts whether or not she is good at math. She enjoys interaction with the teachers and values their feedback. Mathnasium is a comfortable, yet challenging space to grow your child's math literacy.

We have had a great experience with Mathnasium even in the month that we have been here. We have gone from dreading math homework to actually looking forward to it! My daughter is 6 and she's only in 1st grade but getting her started and setting her up for success in math is the best decision and I'm so glad we are here. The teachers are wonderful and my daughter loves going to Mathnasium.

We had arguments about going to other after school programs. My daughter actually anticipates going to Mathnasium and loves it. The staff greet her her by name every visit. She works towards prizes and milestones. These achievements give her confidence not only in academics but in her personal life. We love Mathnasium!

Emily made a 70 on her mid year math assessment in second grade and would be in tears over math homework at least once a week. We knew if we did not do something to strengthen her foundational math skills school would get more and more difficult. We started Mathnasium of Flower Mound in February this year and Emily fell in love with the teachers. The method works well for her too. She made tremendous progress in such a short amount of time that her grades rose and her confidence soared. Math is now one of her favorite subjects. She scored a 90 on her end of year math assessment, finished with an A for the year in Math and won the class Euclid Mathematics Award at the end of the year award ceremony. Mathnasium was a game changer for her. Looking forward to seeing how far the program can take her. Thank you!

Edric seems to be doing better now with Mathnasium. I was discussing with him about the pre-assessment he recently completed. He was able to answer and talk about the topics he learned with more confidence than in the past. It is that kind of learning I was looking for. Learning with understanding. Keep improving, please.

Our son has struggled on and off with math throughout the years. This is our second time enrolling him in the Mathnasium program and each experience has left him with a feeling of more confidence and he has taken more pride in his work. We have not regretted it at all! It's been a good thing for all of us! Definitely less fights and struggle at home, too! That alone, is worth the world to us! :)

Mathnasium has tools and materials for structured learning and my daughter has greatly improved after going to Mathnasium for an year. Her grades have improved a lot and her general love for learning Math has significantly improved. She is always excited to go to Mathnasium. She gets excited when she learns a new topic and tries to do that home as well. I have seen her teaching those techniques to her friends sometimes as well.

Math was just a boring subject until Mathnasium happened to my kids. All thanks to their individualized learning plan & one-on-one tutoring by amazing instructors who genuinely care about transforming young minds. My child was always stressed when it came to math. She would not want me, a math teacher, to help her at home. After her first session at mathnasium, her question was "can I go there all the way through 12th grade?" She is finding math easier to understand. I love mathnasium because it is less stress on my child and me. I love mathnasium because she is working on assignments that are at grade-level and relevant to what she is studying at school. Allowing her to come in before a test and for me to ask that certain concepts be covered during her session has been a life-saver. I can't say enough about mathnasium and the friendly individuals that work there. She feels comfortable getting help, and a parent/teacher can't ask for more than that.

Our son has been attending the Mathnasium of Flower Mound for three years. The staff and teachers at the Mathnasium have always been courteous and very helpful.
I highly recommend this program, if your child is having trouble keeping up with the current materials at school and does not have a strong foundation in Math. The extra support provided during the Math sessions will allow your child to move forward with the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in upper level Math.
Thanks to the support of the Mathnasium, he is a member of the Math Honor Society and will complete the high school graduation endorsement of "STEM", with a focus on Math, this year.
