At Mathnasium, we help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. Children who consistently
attend sessions at our learning centers enjoy a transformative learning experience and make huge strides in the classroom.

Mathnasium in Ladera Ranch has really helped my daughter's math skills. She looks forward to attending and enjoys the prizes she earns. We are impressed by the structure of curriculum and frequent assessments and progress reports. All of the instructors are great and very friendly! I always feel that I can check-in with the staff for mid-month reports.

Mathnasium is a great local resource if your weakness is math. You can choose private or group tutoring. They have flexible hours and really work to help students improve on areas of weakness. They also offer SAT prep in Math (of course)

My daughter struggled with math during distance learning. She had never struggled before, and she was very frustrated. We signed her up for Mathnasium, and she made progress as she finished 5th grade. We continued Mathnasium as she started middle school. In her first two grading periods in middle school, she made A+ in math - 101 and 103, respectively! We are so proud of her, and we are so very thankful for Mathnasium!!

We enrolled one of our daughters 5 years ago when she was struggling in math. Her math knowledge and skill have greatly improved. My youngest daughter isn't very confident in her math skills after the lockdown so we enrolled her its been about 2 months now and she already shown improvement in the classroom. Highly recommend Mathnasium! My oldest child benefitted from the Lisa’s team. He is now in advanced math and continues to excel. Our other children gained such confidence and mastery in math, that makes my wife and I very happy. We know that this would build the foundation they will need towards achieving their educational goals.

The public schools are absolutely failing our kids. With distance learning, most of the time the high school teachers are exclusively using other resources to teach the kids. UC Scout is the most used. The teachers do not teach the curriculum. We have seen the math teachers rely heavily on UC Scout. This is asynchronous teaching. The student can’t raise their hand and ask for an explanation during the lesson. “Self Teach” is the new buzzword. That’s a good one, when your kid is already struggling. If it were not for Mathnasium my kid would have failed both Algebra I andI II and Geometry. Instead he was able to earn high marks. Most importantly he gained confidence in himself and is not intimidated my math.

We are so happy with the progress of our two kids in Mathnasium. They developed confidence in math and come home excited to share new ways of solving an equation. This was the same experience we had with our first child who attended Mathnasium. He developed a love for math that prepared him with his advance math course in middle school.

My child had a failing grade in Algebra II when we started with Mathnasium. She was able to meet in person for two weeks and then the COVID shut down happened. Mathnasium Ladera Ranch was in close communication with us immediately arranging online options to continue distance learning. We continued week after week and she completed the class with a B. She was ecstatic! Thank you to the Mathnasium Ladera Ranch staff for your dedication and kindness during a very stressful time.

Our son did great. We moved mid yr in third grade and he was a bit behind his new class. A few months at mathnasium and he moved from the remedial math class, to regular math to advanced math. He then continued in the remote learning class and has finished third grade well ahead of third grade curriculum and well positioned to thrive in fourth grade.

Somehow they make math interesting for the kids. Both of my children go and have advanced much faster and have improved their grades much more than we thought they would. Math skills are so critical, and most people in the general public don't understand math mechanics. Mathnasium teaches them to be winners. The skills they teach not only apply to math class, but also to science classes.

Mathnasium has been a game changer for us. My son is skipped two years of math when he entered middle school and became overwhelmed but didn’t want to level down. Unable to help, I enrolled his in Mathnasium and it’s eliminated a huge amount of stress in our home. Even when he doesn’t have school work, the tutors at Mathnasium have identified holes in his understanding of math and working to make those strengths. I recommend Mathnasium to everyone with struggling students now.

My children are doing so well in Math at school, thanks to the help they receive at Mathnasium. We have one high achiever who attends because he simply likes to stay ‘on top of things’, and another child who is dyslexic and was way behind his peers. Both children enjoy their sessions very much and look forward to them each week.

My son always enjoyed Math but was behind his peers before joining Mathnasium. He was initially reluctant to begin tutoring, but now absolutely loves his afternoons at Mathnasium!!! Not only is he enjoying it, he has maintained an A in Math for all of first quarter. This is the boy who attended summer school.
