Mathnasium has been wonderful for my 3rd grader. She wasn't understanding math well at tdee beginning of the school year and I was concerned she would start falling farther and farther behind. Now, she has caught up and she has loved doing it. Mathnasium makes math fun and rewarding. She's been encouraged by the great staff and has thrived at their program and at school. Im given regular feedback and always feel welcome to ask questions. Im so thankful for Mathnasium. It has made a huge difference.

My daughter has loved her experience at Mathnasium. It's never a challenge to get her to go. She has significantly improved in her math skills and is always asking me to quiz her with math questions in the car. The staff at Mathnasium are all wonderful. I had high expectations and they've all been exceeded. Mathnasium has been the perfect place to help my daughter.

I appreciate the work Mathnasium has done with our daughter. The mix of instruction while consistently encouraging and instilling confidence is a great approach. Mathnasium has a family oriented, fun atmosphere and every staff member we've had has been top notch. A great learning environment! Cannot recommend them enough!

This was the best decision we ever made for our daughter! She's not only loving math now but she's excelling in all her subjects in school. Mathnasium gave her the confidence she needed and turned a kid that hated math into one that wants to attend classes at least 3 days a week during her summer break!!!

The staff at Mathnasium in Ankeny are wonderful! My 9 year old daughter attends Mathnasium three times per week. I initially thought that it was going to be a struggle in getting her there; however, she loves it and looks forward to going every single time! She is becoming more confident in math and continues to make progress in her math skills.

Our son has always enjoyed math but needs to be challenged. The school system determined our son was eligible to take Algebra as a 6th grader in the fall. By attending Mathnasium in the summer, our son is able to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be confident with an accelerated math placement during the school year. Our son has been challenged and Mathnasium has rejuvenated his interest in math. Our son especially appreciates the explanations provided by the Mathnasium instructors. Our son reports the explanations are easy to understand and instructors are able to answer questions completely. They truly do know how to teach math in a way that makes sense. My husband and I appreciate the continuing feedback from the center director, on-going assessments, and customized learning plans. We are pleased with the investment we have made to help our son be successful in the classroom this fall.

Tommy is very knowledgeable and helpful in helping my child figure out what areas were her strength and weaknesses. My child had a wonderful time each session. I highly recommend this location. I have already introduced 2 of our friends to visit. I will be coming back with my other younger children once they are of age.

My daughter came in to this class with a D- in school she has been in the class for about 6months or so she enjoys class there and is catching on. When she was in elementary school she was awesome at math but what she had middle school she really struggled but now being in the program her grade has now went to an A- in school.

The kids love going and learning math. I did k t have a good experience with math growing up and the importance was lost to me. As I watch my kids learn, they are able to math problems in their head where I have to pull out a calculator... They also like to play math games in the car and teach other kids about math. Staff is great and the kids talk about who helped them when they go in. All in all, is an excellent experience and we do talk to everyone we know about Mathnaseum.

Our daughter is enjoying the program. Today I asked her if she felt more confident going back to school because we're doing the summer tutoring. With a big smile she said yes! My only suggestion would be to give the parents an occasional update as they work through the program instead of waiting until the end. For example today she told me she finished level two and is moving on to level III. She's excited about that and so am I! But I'm wondering what that grade level equivalent is. I do like how well the kids are rewarded and I like getting the half sheets of paper that come home explaining what they did that day. This is a program we recommend and will probably do again in the future.

My kids are excited to go to Mathnasium. It's awesome and funny, because I definitely was never so excited as a kid! They enjoy all the instructors. Very thankful for my kids to get the opportunity to develop a love of math, knowing how it has set them up for a lifetime of learning and the ability to excel in whatever they do!

My son has a lot of anxiety when it comes to doing math at school. Because he fears making mistakes or looking bad in front of the class he will not ask questions and struggles with completing homework in a timely fashion. He never argues when it is time to go to Mathnasium. You have created an environment that he can feel comfortable in for 2 hours per week. He is gaining confidence by refreshing and building upon his basic math skills. This has helped him effectively solve his 8th grade Algebra and Algebra 2 problems. Your regular updates on what he is working on and completing are a great way for us to engage him in conversation about his experience.

Our daughter Alexis experiences anxiety and self doubt when it comes to learning something new. However, the one on one experience she receives at Mathnasium and the multiple ways the instructors have in explaining how to solve problems have led to an improved confidence and interest in learning math subjects for her. She really enjoys going to her sessions! She has fun and within just a week she was asking to go more often. Before visiting Mathnasium she absolutely dreaded math and her teachers struggled to keep her engaged. This is exactly what she needed to get her on the right path and thinking about math in a more positive light. The open schedule is so convenient as well!
