What You Need to Know about the Summer Slide 2020
Jul 8, 2020
Every year, students lose up to 3 months of learning in what's known as the "summer slide".
This year, due to school shutdowns early in the year, the learning loss is projected to be even higher. The "COVID slide" can result in the loss of up to a year of learning according to the NWEA.
Mathnasium can help!
The Mathnasium program is designed to meet your student where they're at and move at their pace. That means they'll never get left behind or get bored working on material they already understand.
With just a couple hours a week, your student will be able to combat the COVID slide, helping them feel more confident in their math abilities and prepared for the new school year.
Mathnasium offers in-center instruction (with precautions to keep your student safe and healthy) and web-based instruction for families who don't feel comfortable or don't have the time to come to the center.
Contact us today to schedule your student's free assessment!
COVID-19 Update: Open for in-center and live, web-based instruction. All sessions are by appointment only.
