Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

CenterDirectorJackie Jaques, Center Director

Jackie is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Beavercreek. She started working at Mathnasium of Centerville as an Instructor in August 2013, after graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, and fell in love with the Mathnasium Method and curriculum.  Jackie worked as a TA in both classroom and laboratory settings, and has tutored math, chemistry, and Spanish in college.  At Mathnasium of Centerville, she worked as an Instructor and then Lead Instructor before moving to Beavercreek to be Center Director.  She has a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and recently completed her MBA at the University of Cincinnati.  Jackie thoroughly enjoys helping and teaching others, especially in math and science.  She believes that math is a critical skill for everyone.  Math is found in every aspect of school and life, and Mathnasium provides the opportunity for kids to understand and appreciate math.  Her favorite part of her job is to watch a child's transformation from hating and fearing math to understanding and enjoying it!

Brad Paul, Instructor

Brad retired from working for the United States Air Force after a long career as an electrical engineer.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University, as well as a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Dayton.  Brad has always had a passion for mathematics and a desire to teach or tutor mathematics when he retired.  He says, "Mathnasium allows me to share my love of math with students of all ages."  Brad has been married to his high school sweetheart for 39 years.  He has two children, a son and a daughter.  In his free time, Brad enjoys traveling to Europe with his wife.  Their favorite place to visit is Italy.

Cindy Fleck, Instructor

Cindy has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Indianapolis, where she majored in mathematics and minored in English, as well as a Master's degree in mathematics from Indiana University.  She recently retired from Wright State Univeresity, where she spent 30 years as an instructor and coordinator/director of various programs.  She continues to work for WSU as an adjunct instructor.  She loves teaching math, so Mathnasium was a natural post-retirement career for her.  She also loves gardening and traveling.  Cindy has been to Italy, Greece, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales, Canada, and Mexico.  She hopes to add India and Egypt to that list in the not too distant future!

Courtney Griffith, Instructor

Courtney graduated from Carroll High School in 2016 and is currently a student at Wright State University, where she is studying social science education.  Before working at Mathnasium, Courtney worked at various retail stores.  While she was in high school, she was a wrestling statistician.  She is now a coach for the wrestling team.  Courtney enjoys working at Mathnasium because she believes it is good preparation for her future teach career and she enjoys sharing math with young minds.  A fun fact about Courtney: her dog and cat are named after the Lion King and her favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch!
