My daughter was testing about a year below grade level. She has been going to Mathnasium for about 6 months and as of this last testing, she was testing at grade level! We are very happy with the progress she has made and would highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone who might need extra help with math.

My son has struggled with math for a long time. We have tried tutors but he still was having a hard time. We were so lost as what to do next. I checked into Mathnasium and with their assessment we could see exactly where he needed to start. He is learning and we are extremely satisfied. I would recommend Mathnasium to anyone having their child struggling with math. The staff is great!!

My daughter Mia was lacking in her 5th grade Math assignments and we had her assessed by Mathnasium and found that she was lacking in specific areas and a specific program was created to began teaching her in those areas. My daughter's confidence grew in completing her math assignments and with taking test. Very grateful for the friendly staff who assisted our daughter during this challenging time.

I like the fact that my child’s learning is individualized so that she can make progress at her own pace. Also, my child not only does well at solving math problems but also UNDERSTANDS the math concepts, which I think Kumon lacks (kids at Kumon can do well at tests but lack the understanding of mathematical meanings, which in my opinion is not a sustainable way of good learning and creative thinking). Great job!

My child is very behind in basic arithmetic despite being a teenager. She refused to do any math with parents, but she was very receptive to the tutors at Mathnasium and has done a lot of work catching up. In 15 sessions there is a marked improvement in her math skills to the point that she now has enough confidence to do some at home and even with parents. She still has catching up to do, but she's well on her way. I plan to return to Marhnasium again whenever she struggles, and every summer to keep her on track to catching up the last eight years.

My daughter started this summer prior to starting her first grade year. She has loved the experience since day one. The environment is consistently positive and she looks forward to going. The instruction meets the student at the their current level and grows them from wherever they are. I Highly recommend this Mathnasium location. They are organized, responsive, and we will be continuing through the school year.

Our experience was very positive. The instructors were knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter gained confidence immediately and continued to gain throughout the sessions. Her grades on tests went from D's and F's to above 100% on every test thereafter. She has been placed in Advanced Math this year and she is looking forward to a great year. Thank you for all of the hard work.

Henry missed allot of the basic fundamental skills in math due to classes being large and teachers really not taking the time and he hated to go to school. My grandson has really started to look forward to coming in for tutoring and his confidence in his math skills has increased. I realize Henry has some work ahead but with the help of the tutoring he will be to meet the challenge. Thank you

My daughter is a junior in high school, who attended Mathnasium for 5 months in hopes of doing well when it came time to take the SAT. A smart student, she did well enough in school but had no love for subject. That changed with Mathnasium. She really liked all her tutors and found them enormously helpful, not just in preparing for the SAT but in understanding what was being taught in school. She finished the semester with an A+ in trig. and scored 690 on the math section of the SAT, which is higher than she could ever have expected in the past. Peter's approach to instruction and his tutors' competence and accessibility have everything to do with her success. Most important, my daughter now sees herself as someone who is good at math, acquires the concepts easily, and even enjoys the subject. This is sure to serve her well in college and beyond. Thank you, Peter and team at Mathnasium in Northwest Fresno for the difference you have made!

My daughter was skipped ahead in math to algebra after the 7th grade because she was excelling, but in doing so, she missed learning a lot of basic concepts she would need. She was failing algebra when she came to Mathnasium. I tried to help her and teach her how to take notes and study, but her teacher didn't allow note-taking in class and they didn't have a book or handouts (only notes on the board she wasn't allowed to copy), so it was difficult to know what she was working on and I had to look things up to refresh my memory so I could help her. She would get frustrated with me when she didn't understand something, so I tried tutors but they had the same problem. Mathnasium's process of testing and working on the basic foundational concepts she was lacking in addition to the current concepts she was working on in class really helped. She loved going to Mathnasium and could relate to the instructors and was able to turn her F into an A within just a few weeks. I highly recommend Mathnasium.
