It’s been eight months and my child continues to enjoy Mathnasium. The performance difference between when he started and now is very noticeable in his school testing. He seems very proud of his accomplishments. We aim to go 10 times a month and usually get in at least 8-9 per month. It’s sometimes a difficult commitment because that is 8-10 times he can’t be doing something else. But the hours are pretty flexible. He has gone up two levels. We like the progress reports we get. We will continue the program.

Our son Zachary has gone from being frustrated with Math to enjoying it and understanding it.
He is proud of his improvement and that he is a little bit ahead of his 3rd grade peer group in understanding math. Clearly the change is due to the staff at Mathnasium who make math fun and understandable.

Mathnasium has been a fantastic option for our 2nd grader! Where she once struggled with math now she’s gaining knowledge and increasing confidence. But the most-amazing development is her new love of math. She protests most events in her schedule but is always happy to keep her appointments at Mathnasium. Thank you for helping my daughter develop her “beautiful mind”.

We generally like the ease and flow of how Mathnasium works. Our only issue is that Luke thinks it is a bit easy and sometimes does not feel a connection to the different instructors.
He was tired when he took the assessment test at the beginning and thinks that some of the mathnasium work is a waste of time. I understand the template of how mathnasium works - both on current work and going back to fundamentals to build capacity / competence. I do think - however - it would be good to re-test or connect with student at various levels to get a more accurate baseline. Some of the "plan" that is being used for my sone is based on one test he took after a long day and he just skipped several questions to get to the end. I believe some of the data was taken has he did not know the information.
Small re-assessments might better pinpoint what he should be working on when he comes in each week.

We brought our 2nd grader to you in hopes of helping her learn to like and appreciate math. Now she loves it! Her attitude has improved 100% and that makes her more interested in doing the work and learning. Her scores have improved but it's her attitude that is the biggest surprise. She now understands the relationship between putting in the work and seeing better scores and admiration from her parents and teachers. When I ask her; "hey, do you want to go to Mathnasium after school?", she always says, "sure, I love that place".

8yo son about to start 3rd grade this summer avoided math studies--math seemed to frustrate him during the height of the pandemic.
After starting Mathnasium in early August he is more relaxed and actually is enjoying math.
His change regarding math was noticed by some friends, who signed up their 8yo son to start Mathnasium as well.

This place is magical - my son is motivated and having fun learning math. Absolutely no complaints other than that he wishes he could have gotten more done and wants to go several times a week. It’s a win-win. We have only been attending for a month. Very flexible scheduling Karen has been responsive to our needs.

We couldn't be happier with our experience. Our daughter went from slightly below grade level when we started, to nearly completing the next grade level's standards in a matter of months. She is now confident in her math abilities, so rather than dreading school math assignments she breezes right through them with time to spare. Save yourself the time and frustration of trying to help with math homework that we adults don't understand, and have the experts at Mathnasium take over.

The team at Mathnasium in LJ is fantastic. They are friendly and welcoming and make math fun. Our son has been going to Mathnasium for enrichment during the Covid situation since it was in person and since our son’s school only had math for 9 weeks on then 9 weeks off. Mathnasium kept his skills up during the off times and accelerated his skills during the on times. We highly recommend Mathnasium for math!

I feel so relieved knowing my son has regular, consistent help with his math homework as well as more in-depth teaching of foundational methodologies to build upon as he progresses through school. Mathnasium makes math fun! My son really enjoys going to Mathnasium for math enrichment and he is especially happy that it is in person. It is a welcome change from online learning.

My daughter has been a Mathnasium student for a year/3x weekly and what a turn around we have experienced. This program has helped her build foundational Math skills and, more importantly, improve her overall confidence in her abilities. She actually looks forward to going to get the help. The staff are friendly and accommodating. In particular, Andrew is a great Manager and my daughter really enjoyed working with Jonathan.

Mathnasium has everything handled for me. All I need to do is bring my children there and I can be assured they will be challenged and will be developing the skills they need to progress in math. We are so happy that Mathnasium is in-person. My son is tired of online learning.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
My son’s middle school is only teaching math for two 9 week sessions this year. Thank goodness for Mathnasium so my son can continue to practice and learn math during the off sessions at school.

We've taken advantage of the video time during the stay at home mandate and now have continued it as it is convenient for us and we aren't ready to share spaces yet. I would like to recommend a little but more one on one time with a student in a teaching capacity. In addition, on line sessions seem to have a bit of down time waiting for an instructor if the student doesn't understand how to solve the problem. Offering 12 sessions in a month rather than the 10 sessions may equalize that out.

My daughter has really started to enjoy math now, instead of always being intimidated by it. She still has a way to go with “catching up” but has already made gains in her first month and is starting to show confidence in her abilities. The staff are so patient and explain in a way where she is understanding and connecting. They make it fun and enjoyable and she says it’s now her favorite place to go.

Mathasium is a wonderful center to support your child’s math needs. Mine were able to work through material they had either not seen in class, needed a review of, could a little extra help with. The mathnasium tutors are friendly, efficient, and highly competent. Mathnasium is an all around great choice to support your child’s math objectives.

We recommend your services at a 10 for children that are driven to excel in math. Our son Lucas grew tremendously in the program, going from 3rd grade to 5th grade math. Our son Dylan, which is why we joined the program, initially improved, but plateaued and really wasn't engaged in the program for the past 6 months.
