We have been bringing our children to Mathnasium over the past few years. We have watched them go from struggling to enjoying and understanding math. They teach them techniques to break things down, slow down not to get frustrated or scared by numbers.( like their momma does) We are so happy to see how much they have grown. We continue to send them knowing the confidence it gives them to be successful in school. Lots of love and thanks for Mr Rich and Mrs Chris Alfano and all the staff that truly love what they do!

She becomes more secure at the time of the test, I saw since the first week a change in my daughters math actitud towards math.

Mathnesium is a great place to choose Math as your best friend. My son goes to Mathnesium, Sayville, Long Island. I highly recommend this place because Rich Alfano is an awesome person and loves his work. This positivity boost my kid to build his confidence for growth in math. Rich himself and all his instructors put a lot of effort to help all the kids and creates a very positive environment for study. Rich always try to help my son in all the possible ways. His conversation with our kid is very motivational. Mathnesium helps kids with their homework as well as it always keeps students ahead of the present learning plan in school. The assessments are the best. Rich keep the parents updated with their child's progress and workout session vision. I am very much satisfied with the learning environment, staff, curriculum and above all my son's concepts and performance.

Outstanding customer service. Communication is excellent- response to calls and emails is immediate. Rich always gives generously of his time to answer questions about the program and to discuss my child’s specific needs. His engaging and patient interaction style have positively influenced her view of math. She now sees math as a fun activity rather than a “boring challenge”, a perception that unfortunately resulted from her experiences with math instruction in school.

My son stated before I brought him here that he wanted to go in space engineering or something with astronomy. I explained to him that he needed to know math. That’s when he said I guess I’m not doing that. Since bringing him here his dreams have come alive again. He feels confident that he can learn math and he is happier.

Rich and Chris are absolutely amazing. They really care deeply about every student and their success. Learning can be fun. My daughter is motivated, inspired, and open to reach her goal. I highly recommend anyone who has a loved one struggling in math, any age or grade to come check out Mathnasium. One month ago Allie received one correct answer on a 13 question test. After going to Mathnasium 3 times a week for almost four weeks she received a 100 on her test a few days ago. She is thriving and I look forward to see where she will be in a few months.

We have seen such immense improvement in our son's confidence in doing math as well as his ability to problem solve with the tools he has been given by Mathnasium. His grades have improved and he is a totally different child doing math than before he started at Mathnasium. We are very grateful for Mr. Rich and his wife and all of the instructors that work with John. They explain everything in a way he can understand and will continue going over things he is still unsure of or is having a problem with until he feels comfortable in his abiities.

Rich and the staff have provide not only great professional math tutoring. They have provided something that has been invaluable, social interaction. As the Connetquot Schools and the Teachers Union refuse to provide these video interactions for our children. Rich and his staff have put children first. Mathnasium works on every level-it allows the student to learn at their own pace, to work independently but with supervision and guidance when needed, and to experience the fun side of learning math. Our son has been going to Mathnasium for about four months now, and the change in him since he started is truly amazing. We are beyond grateful for Rich and all of his staff at Sayville Mathnasium. One of the biggest changes we notice is how John feels about math compared to how he felt before. There are no more tears during homework, no more frustration trying to figure things out. They have given him the tools to work through problems and he has gained so much more confidence in himself since going to Mathnasium. He goes three times a week and it's something he actually looks forward to doing, which I think speaks volumes. His math average has gone from a 52 to an 88 and just keeps getting better and better. We are beyond proud of his accomplishments and it's all because of the hard work he puts in with the Sayville Mathnasium team and the approach they use to work with these kids. One of the best decisions we've made and we are so happy we did!

My granddaughter went from a struggling, barely-passing student in math to one who just got an "A" on her report card! Mathnasium has given her confidence to tackle math problems without the fear and confusion she previously experienced. The instructors at Mathnasium are very patient and have a true desire to teach the student how to successfully execute the math they are working on at the time. Rich understands what is needed to get a student to perform at or above the level they are currently working on, and he ensures that everything is done consistently to achieve that goal.

Our daughter started MATHNASIUM I’ve this past summer, after a tortuous year of math, where she struggled, lost all confidence, and barely passed. This year, after her experience at MATHNASIUM, there’s been a complete, total turn around. She’s flying through her math skills, and has been maintaining a mid-90’s average and is actually ENJOYING her math class and learning!!! We can’t believe her progress. It’s really unbelievable. So grateful to have found MATHNASIUM... just can’t recommend it enough!!!

We would like to thank the management and staff of Mathnasium for accommodating our Son's study needs by developing a College level Calculus II study plan for him. We were referred to Mathnasium by some parents of High School students who had success with the service provided. When we initially met with the Rich, he advised us that they were primarily geared towards working middle and high school students, but not College students. Without hesitation he offered to develop a personalized study plan for him, which has made a tremendous improvement in his level of understanding and confidence with his school work.

My daughter attended Mathnasium for 6 months and there has been such a transformation. She started out very behind in math with failing grades, no confidence and didn't understand basic concepts. All I can say is now in middle school her math teacher recently said to her " I thought your mom said you struggled in math." Her confidence has improved so much! She's no longer nervous or demanding I sit and do her math with her. Mathnasium is a wonderful organization and helped us so much! We are forever grateful! The staff was amazing, welcoming and really made math fun to where my daughter would ask to go!

My granddaughter has been going several times a week for about 4 months and I definitely see an improvement in learning how to understand and solve a problem. If your child is struggling with math or just wants to improve their grade; Mathnasium offers a pleasing, supportive environment. Rich is super to work with and listens to your concerns. The staff is encouraging and provides great feedback. My son significantly improved his Math SAT score and my daughter has consistently raised her grade in math each quarter.

This summer my son JJ attended 10 math sessions at Mathnasium of Sayville. When JJ began his sessions he had a very negative attitude towards his ability to learn math. During the 10 sessions at Mathnasium I started to see this attitude change for the positive. On JJ’s first day of seventh grade as he came home from school his first response to me was that he thought this year he would do better in math because he already knew about the first topic on integers from Mathnasium. Now JJ has the confidence to do what he needs to do. His first test grades were 82 and 85 thanks to Mathnasium!

Staff is amazing!! My daughter started at MATHNASIUM with a fear of math and absolutely zero confidence. After only a few sessions, she is LOVING MATH and her confidence is back!!
