As a former elementary school teacher with 19 years’ classroom experience, I knew my daughter was falling behind in math, but as her mother, she wanted no part of my support. When we turned to Mathnasium for help, they were able to show us the gaps that I sensed she had, right there in the assessment. We got started right away.
We are now a month into the program and my daughter’s self confidence in math has already grown tremendously. She is learning and showing progress, not just in her mathematical confidence, but also in her mathematical abilities and the all important vocabulary.
I am so happy we signed up for Mathnasium! Their program was just what we needed and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would ask!

We had a great experience with Mathnasium. Scheduling is made very easy and flexible. The tutoring has helped with math skills, grades and consequently self confidence. The owners are very caring. I just wish it would be a little quieter in the room. My son thought it can be difficult to concentrate and focus sometimes. We could suggest to whisper so it would feel more like in a library. But overall it was fantastic and I totally recommend it!

My son got behind in his Advanced Algebra course due to being out for a prolonged illness. As it became clear that he was missing foundational knowledge necessary for continued success, we reached out to Mathnasium for help.
I was impressed with their assessment and game plan from the start, but that I expected. What completely shocked me was their ability to get a 14 year old excited about doing an additional 75 minutes worth of math, three days a week! How is that even possible!?!
Well, it is and they did. Though initially not excited, he had embraced it because of the outcomes. Though his grade did slip in the third quarter, he is committed to scoring high enough in his Algebra class this quarter to preserve his 4.0 cumulative GPA for Middle School.

Since our daughter started tutoring with mathnasium her grades improved significantly and also her confidence.
We have many issues with internet service and the tutors are very patient and helpful, including Doug that's always willing to help us with a very optimistic and positive attitude 😀. We thank you all for everything you do for our family. Happy holidays!

For the first time my daughter is talking about math at the dinner table! She is excited to tell us about what tricks she has learned and new ways of understanding numbers that finally makes sense to her. She is homeschooled so it's really good for her to have other adults to interact with online and in the center. The whole Mathnasium team has been super supportive and encouraging. They are always full of energy and ready to help! I truly feel our money is well spent.

It is a wonderfully, supportive environment. It is a gift to kids who take full advantage of the program. Everything is tailored to the individual child, with short term and long term rewards being given to help motivate and encourage. The owners and administrative staff are amazing communicators who actually care.

My daughter went to Mathnasium for help with the math sections on the SAT and ACT. She went three times a week for 2-1/2 months and worked on mastering some skills that would help her improve her testing scores. She also took practice SAT exams while at her sessions. Every tutor she had was extremely helpful and very encouraging. She has since taken both the SAT and ACT. She raised her SAT math section score by 80 points! Her ACT math section score she raised from a 28 to a 32! Needless to say we were very pleased with her performance and very thankful that she spent the summer getting help at Mathnasium!

We have seen an increase in grades from D's to A's and B's. The staff is willing to focus on concepts my child is struggling with at the moment in math and then they continue to build a the disconnect my child has with math. The staff makes my child feel good even when understanding a concept is a struggle.

To start, Doug and Lisa are AMAZING people, easy to work with, always easy to talk to, just all around great people. As far as the program, I CANNOT stress enough, my son graduated high-school because of this program, and the Phenomenal team of tutors and employees. My son had struggled with Algebra for almost 3 years, within 6 months of going to the Mathnasium he was done with Algebra 1, then came Algebra 2, took a little bit longer than I had hoped, but everyone learns at their own speed. But again, my son would DEFINITELY NOT have graduated without this program, and amazing staff. Hats off to Doug and Lisa, I have already recommended the Mathnasium to several friends and colleagues, and will continue to do so. Grrrrrrrrrreat program and staff!!! Thank you so much Doug and Lisa.

It's a little expensive, but I can't argue with the results. My son was starting to struggle in algebra and I know I was not able to help. I noticed improvements in a week or so, and he was like a different person after a few weeks. He got an A for the course and, although we haven't received results for the EOC, my son felt very confident. Thank you!

My daughter was struggling with math concepts from her class in school and was not receiving the instruction she needed. Having had previous positive experiences with Mathnasium with other children, we chose to send her there for 6 weeks to finish the school year and prepare for exams. Since then she has scored in the 90% or higher on her math assessments in class and for the first time this year genuinely seems confident in her subject knowledge. This is in stark contrast to the frustration of the past few months. We are very happy with the program Mathnasium implements for our daughter’s learning.

I have only been with Mathnasium for a few weeks but I have been greatly impressed with the changes in my son, both with his grades and confidence! I was not able to help him much on my own and I was glad I had someone to turn to. It's expensive though, and we're lucky that we're able to handle the expense.

My daughter has excelled in her math class because Mathnasium take the time to help her understand her math homework and retake tests if necessary. Mathnasium staff members are nice and understand about children with learning disabilities and they make time for her. My daughter has built up her confidence towards math and has gone from struggling to get a D to straight A's, but she has to work hard at it. Math dose not come easy to her! She is extremely proud of herself and how far she has come!

I have been taking my son to the Mathnasium now for about 5 months, I have watched my son severely struggle with algebra 1 for all 4 years of his high-school career, with Mathnasium i have seen him go from a 22% to a 92% in algebra 1. I highly recommend the Mathnasium for any family that has a child struggling with math. Great company, and great staff! Doug and Lisa are great down to earth people, and fingers crossed we will have a graduating senior in June this year (class of 21) thank u so much Doug and Lisa.

I like how the program is structured. There is accountability and rewards. The director and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My child learned and improved a lot. I believe it is an excellent program for any student interested or wants to become better at Math. The digital format is user friendly and the ease of scheduling sessions is accessible through mobile phones, desktop and laptops.

The Mathnasium atmosphere creates an excellent, positive, environment for learning- for even the most unenthusiastic student. While 8th grade, high school level, math courses are challenging, the tutors have connected with our son on a level that allows him to ask the questions he may not have been comfortable asking in class. Mathnasium is a phenomenal program, the tutors/teachers are great and they all have a personality!! The owners Doug and Lisa are great people, and their customer service is second to none! That have been helping my 17 y/o son immensely with Algebra one! Although prior to me looking into the Mathnasium, I had been told by others that its a little costly, but for people whom can afford this program, it is WELL worth its weight in gold!! This program is excellent and maintains not only my child, but all the kids/tutors are very involved! They make math fun for real! Thank you Doug and Lisa!
