Steve and the crew at Mathnasium in Brentwood are wonderful. My daughter has sensory and social anxiety. We had transitioned from a brick and mortar to homeschool. She was struggling greatly trying to manage Algebra I independently. We began attending Mathnasium early in the semester with an F. She was able to complete the course with a B and a significant increase in competence. Aside from the math, the team made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable and for that, I am truly grateful.

My girls really appreciate the wonderful staff/teachers and are receiving the best support and guidance with all their math needs. They go above and beyond in assisting with math questions and are helping build a solid math foundation that my kids will have for the rest of their lives. I highly recommend Mathnasium in Brentwood!

Chris is an amazing director. He is always available, great communicator, problem solver and totally invested in providing my children with the best math experience. My kids love their tutors and the laid back, cozy environment. The scheduling system is super easy. I appreciate the progress emails keeping me up to date on how my kids are performing. I highly recommend Mathnasium.

I have two kids at Mathnasium and they both love it! They are preparing for an upcoming year of an advanced math in school. Although my kids do well in math, they typically aren't super excited to do homework. However, they are always ready to go to their Mathnasium appt. Seth and staff make it fun and love coming home and telling us how many points they got that day!

My daughter has struggled with math since first grade. She is now a sixth grader and I could see her confidence fading. She often joked that she was "stupid" because she didn't get it and she couldn't do it as fast as her peers so why bother. No one told her these things about herself, she decided to label herself this way based on what she saw around her. I had tried other tutoring services and they did not help, nor could I help my own child. I decided to give Mathnasium a try and after her third session she was coming home a happy confident child. She looks forward to going to Mathnasium and I see her confidence when she does math at home. My child still has a way to go but the confidence she has gained is the first step in getting her where she needs to be.

My 10 year old daughter loves learning at Mathnasium. She has an interest in math and it's important to us that we provide her an opportunity and environment to continue her enjoyment and growth. She is challenged at Mathnasium and has fun. It's great that we are able to choose whether she learns in-person or virtually which really helped when she was quarantined from school. The flexibility of scheduling is good too.

Both my boys are thriving in school Math class. They are prepared and confident learning new material. Sometimes they already know it because they did it previously in Mathnasium. My son struggled in Algebra 1. He wanted to take honors Algebra 2 this year. We decided to start Mathnasium over the summer to help prepare him for the class. He earned a 96% in honors Algebra 2 for the first semester. My other son is thriving in Geometry. I believe he got a 99% on his first semester final exam.
We highly recommend Mathnasium.

Comprehensiveness.
Adaptability in identifying my child's learning style and instruction needs. When my child is having a bad dyslexic day, he is still able to walk away from the session with learning success. My child is successful in his skill mastery because the instructors are able to quickly find the root cause of what areas needs further practice for the purpose of skill mastery and successful progression without causing boredom. The specific reason of what sets Mathnasium even further apart from other tutoring programs is that my child consistency walks away feeling successful from every session and looks forwards to learning.

Mathnasium is by far the best math tutoring sevice we’ve used in all of our son’s school age years! The curriculum is laid out and they take the time to make sure your student masters each objective and quickly brings them up to standards. In addition, there’s time for help with current homework assignments as well as upcoming tests and in our case some ACT prep. It’s all inclusive. The leadership at our Brentwood center was top notch. The teachers there explains math in such laymen’s term. My only regret is that I didn’t start with them sooner. I would and will recommend them to anyone whose’s student is struggling in math.

After our son experienced a statistically significant drop on a school math assessment, we joined Mathnasium in February 2020. Initially, we tried to schedule two sessions per week.However, after schools closed in early March (due to COVID-19), we used online Mathnasium sessions 4 to 5 times per week. We continued these lessons throughout the Summer of 2020. Our son just completed his 6th grade math pre-test. The teacher recommended that he should be enrolled in Honors math. The instructors at Mathnasium have been terrific and we thank you for your expertise, patience, and quality instruction. Our son actually has fun with math and understands algebraic concepts at a much deeper level now than 6 months ago. Thanks to Alex, Seth, and the rest of your crew! We'll continue to use Mathnasium to augment the traditional classroom!

We have been so happy with the progress our daughter has made thanks to the instructors at Mathnasium. They are able to teach math is the way students are learning now - which is difficult for us who learned math so very differently! Our daughter is loving Mathnesium. At first we were worried about her not focusing or wanting to go after a couple session. However, we were so happy and surprised when she continued to look forward to the sessions.Her tutor is amazing. My student son is much older than your usual students (12th grade), but was able to increase his ACT to a 30 in math from a 28! Great success for someone who is more reading/English oriented (his ACT in reading was 36). He now has a 33 ACT composite.
The real game-changer for us was the ability to 'drop in' and pick up where he left off. His busy school and sports schedule didn't work with the traditional, "every Monday at 8 pm" tutoring.

So far (it has only been a month) the system seems to make sense. My son gets help with his current math assignments and preps for quizzes and tests. And, he is going back to make sure he covers some fundamentals that he missed or isn't proficient in. He looks forward to going to Mathnasium and likes all of the people who tutor and work with him. I can see his math confidence building.

We love Mathnasium! I recommend to all families. My son is taking advanced math and thanks to Alex and team, he is doing great and has even started asking to go to "math class"!! This is a great place to leave your children for a couple of hours, and know the time is spent being productive, yet fun.

After a session, my daughter may be mentally tired - but she is happy and more confident about her ability to master select math skills.
All but one instructor (whom I believe just started with the company on my daughter's most recent day and felt like she needed to flaunt her power) have been positive and supportive in their approaches with my daughter. Thank you!!!
The program and the center itself appear to be designed for business (i.e. learning math skills). This is definitely positive as time is well utilized.

Mathnasium was just what we needed this summer! A perfect solution to help us get back on track, cover missed ground, and give our daughter confidence entering into a new school year. For us, the "membership" approach was a great resource that enabled us to come as much as we could and get as much work in over the summer as we wanted. We have definitely seen the results in our daughter. She has a new fascination with math, will work things that she has learned into her daily conversation, and feels confident about her knowledge. It's great to see her mind processing what she's learned even outside of a learning facility. We highly recommend Mathnasium!

My daughter had a very difficult time with Algebra. Her teacher would move way too fast for her to be able to grasp what was being taught. After a week of attending Mathnasium she could completely understand the problems and get the answers with confidence. Your staff are excellent in teaching the formulas and she is excelling in this subject. We are so pleased with this and she has only been attending a few weeks. Thank you so much!!!

My high school son needed help preparing for a school placement test after an advanced math online summer course. There was one topic he knew was on the test but had not been covered in the course and he could not find enough information anywhere. He came for the appt and he hashed it out with a tutor who had to really remember her college classes to help him. Perfect solution.
