Mathnasium of Boerne Says Farewell to Caring Instructor Brinn Hammond
Jun 9, 2021

For more than a decade, the Mathnasium Method™ has transformed the way kids understand and appreciate math. Our method requires caring instructors who teach and implement each child's customized learning plan, working with each student to ensure they master the material are needed. At Mathnasium of Boerne, one of these instructors was Brinn Hammond.
Brinn joined our team of specially trained, caring instructors in June 2020. As a Mathnasium Instructor, Brinn delivered mathematical instruction to our students using the Mathnasium Method™. Brinn built students’ confidence and self-esteem through successful encounters and interactions with carefully selected materials. Tatum, a student at our center, said that Brinn was really good at teaching and helped her feel more confident working with fractions and division. Jesse, Tatum’s mom, added that Tatum would come home after every session more confidence and enjoyed her sessions. Brinn worked as a part of our team and operated in a team-teaching environment where collaboration and communication ensured all our students were addressed. Sara, a Lead Instructor at our center, noted that Brinn “was super interactive with students and helpful when anyone had a question.”
After graduating from Champion High School, Brinn will be a summer staff member at TBarM Camps and Retreats before starting at the University of Texas at Austin in August 2021.
