At Mathnasium, we help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. Children who consistently attend sessions at our learning centers enjoy a transformative learning experience and make huge strides in the classroom.
Attitude: When math makes sense, kids develop a more positive attitude toward math.
Understanding: Mathnasium teaches for understanding, giving students the ability to succeed in any math environment. As Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer notes, “It's pretty easy to forget things you memorize and near impossible to forget things you understand."
School Progress: When kids learn math in a way that they truly understand, they achieve greater success in the classroom.

You and your staff have taken Paige from completely lost and hating math to openly enjoying the learning process and results. Her grade has risen 30-40 percent.
She openly volunteers how much she enjoys Mathnasium, the quality of the setting and instructors, and your personal amazing capacity to put it all in a language and format she understands.
I watched from the curb several times while waiting for her and wondered why school couldn’t be like Mathnasium. Same quality operation, same size, different subjects by different instructors, and an unequalled educational experience and result.
The one room schoolhouse of 2015.
As you know, during this quarter I was enrolled in a College-level Trigonometry class at Treasure Valley Community College and I was struggling to understand the subject. After roughly a month of your help, I have managed to pass my Trigonometry finalwith a score of ninety-six percent, and a total class score of ninety-four point seven seven percent. In short, I have passed Trigonometry with an A. My Instructor has sent me the final exam by mail, and when I receive it I will be sure to scan and e-mail the document to all of you.
Thank you so much for your help, I never imagined getting an A in Trigonometry.
