Trang, Center Director
Trang is a former junior high and high school math teacher. She has also privately tutored and helped prepare students for standardized tests, including the SAT, GRE, and CBEST. She loves to teach students of all abilities and ages to understand math and to do math with ease and confidence. Trang attended Cornell Univeristy (class of '92) and did graduate work at University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Irvine. Trang is a mom to three children, and she likes to have fun with them skiing, playing board games, baking, and biking.
Anjali, Assistant Center Director
Anjali has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and worked in the Research and Development Department with Philips Company. She has also mentored high school students. In her free time, Anjali likes to cook and watch her favorite TV show, Friends.
Mircea is currently attending California State University at Fullerton majoring in computer science. He went to Brea-Olinda High School. His hobbies include video games, origami, and playing chess.
Danielle is a sophomore at University of California, Irvine, majoring in chemistry. Danielle grew up in Brea, attending Arovista Elementary School, Brea Junior High, and Brea Olinda High School, playing golf on the Varsity team. Danielle has always loved math and science, which led her to pick a major that involves both. Her love for math also led her to work at Mathnasium, where she wants to help kids enjoy learning math. Prior to teaching at Mathnasium of Brea, Danielle coached gymnastics at the YMCA of Fullerton.
Cameron is currently attending University of California, Irvine, majoring in physics. He previously worked as a lifeguard. In his free time, Cameron enjoys reading, going to the movies, and tinkering with car engines.
Jenna is studying French at California State University, Fullerton. She grew up in Brea, attending Country Hills Elementary, Brea Junior High, and Brea-Olinda High School. She formerly volunteered as a karate instructor assisting with youth classes, and she has several years of one-on-one tutoring experience with high-school students. She likes that math is logical and useful in daily life and hopes to be able to teach students how it applies to them. One of her favorite things about teaching at Mathnasium of Brea is the personalities of all the different students. Her hobbies (besides math) include writing poetry, hiking, and music.
Julia is a student at Troy Tech. She attended Mathnasium, which helped her get ahead in math. She enjoys reading, cooking, sailing, and dancing. Julia likes working at Mathnasium and seeing kids become more confident in their math ability.
