[email protected]When we first posted our Stock Your Fridge contest in Brentwood, we were not sure what would happen since we are new to the community and will not open our doors until April 1. We were elated when a fierce voting war broke out between supporters of Crockett Elementary and Sunset Elementary. In the end, Crockett's base rallied and won handily by a margin of 100 votes!
As Ellen and I made our way through the grocery store aisles and left a trail of empty shelves in our wake, we were amused at the stairs as people thought in their head, "Goodness, I'm glad I don't have that many kids." Teachers are a hungry and deserving bunch though, so we were excited to present the goodies and overwhelmed by the gratitude shown us by the Crockett PTO. Our math tutors are very excited to start serving this community and to show children unimagined heights in mathematics!

Mathnasium of Brentwood is opening in the beginning of April and is already booking free assessments. We could tell you a million things we love about Mathnasium, but we will stick to three:
1) Mathnasium offers flexible attendance, so you can bring your student whenever you would like during open hours and there is never a need to schedule in advance.
2) Our monthly membership works out to about $25/hour.
3) Mathnasium is about helping students achieve their full potential. We help rebuild students' skills and confidence when they have fallen behind, but we also help challenge and excite the curiosity of students who wish math class moved a bit faster.
