DaVita Block Party

First, we must confess that when a Davita representative stopped into our center a few weeks ago looking for silent auction donations, we were a bit skeptical about how many attendees they could get in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday. It turns out Davita is just as good at throwing a Block Party as they are at taking care of kidneys - or as we are at teaching math to Brentwood, TN kids! 

In addition to benefiting a great cause, the Bridge of Life, this event also appeared to double as an Employee Appreciation Day as a number of employees brought their kids to the event. 

Although we lacked the showmanship of a massive inflatable bouncy house that occasionally blew billions of bubbles all over the place, we were flattered to find our table packed with kids and adults alike who were trying to solve our puzzles, complete our tangrams and play with our A+ mascot. 

We are definitely looking forward to this event next year!
