Michael Adler

Owner

Hello, thank you for considering our Mathnasium Math Learning Center. I'm Michael, Owner of Mathnasium of Brookline. I opened Mathnasium of Fresh Pond in 2013 and opened Mathnasium of Brookline in the fall of 2018. I'm very excited to invite you and your child to visit our center. I decided to open a Math Learning Center after many years in the international business world, working in IT Management and later Marketing and Business Development in High-Tech. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (BA) from Brandeis University and dual Masters Degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Business Informatics (MBI) from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in the Netherlands. I have always loved math and know from personal experience how the right help and encouragement can really change children's lives. I now want to give children struggling with math an opportunity to overcome their difficulties and learn to enjoy math as much as I do.

Mike Malone

Center Director

I'm Mike Malone, the new Center Director for Mathnasium Brookline as of August, 2022. (The owner, Michael Adler, is still very much in the picture for "big picture" concerns, but I have taken over the day-to-day administration of the center.) My past experience includes substantial amounts of software engineering and project management as well as 15 years of teaching high school math in a suburban Boston public high school. I am also the parent of a child in a local school district. As Center Director, I hope to bring all these parts of my past together to help make this community math learning center a welcoming and effective place for your children to build a stronger relationship with mathematics.

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
