Celebrating the Brag Board Achievers at Mathnasium of Southland! ๐
What does it mean to be a Brag Board Achiever, and how can students earn this recognition?
A Brag Board Achiever is a student who, over the course of a month, completes the highest number of mastery checks at their level, earning the opportunity to showcase their progress and success at Mathnasium.
How to Become a Brag Board Achiever:
โ Consistent Attendance โ Studies show that regular math practice helps transfer knowledge from short-term to long-term memory, reinforcing concepts. Attending sessions consistently leads to more completed work and greater progress.
โ Mastery Checks โ The final page of each prescriptive, known as a Mastery Check, is completed independently to demonstrate understanding of a concept. These mini quizzes test proficiency and retention. The more Mastery Checks completed, the closer a student gets to earning Brag Board recognition!
โ Prescriptive Completion โ A prescriptive is a structured set of materials designed to strengthen a specific concept. Personalized based on a studentโs assessment results, these packets range from 8 to 25 pages and gradually increase in difficulty. Every prescriptive ends with a Mastery Check.
