Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Vincent

Vincent has a degree in Mathematics-Computer Science from University of California, San Diego. Before joining the Mathnasium team, he worked as a SEO intern at an event planning business. Vincent plans on a career in the technology field as a Data Analyst. When Vincent isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, he also enjoys playing video games and watching tv shows.

William

William has a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Before joining the Mathnasium team, William worked as a Research and Development Engineer at a local medtech startup. William plans on a career in the engineering field as a mechanical engineer. When William isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, he also enjoys photography and spending time with friends and family.

Sydney

Sydney is a Math/Econ major at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Before joining the Mathnasium team, she worked as a reading and math tutor. Sydney plans on a career in the finance field as a hedge fund manager. When she isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, Sydney also enjoys playing softball and spending time with friends and family.

Maddy

Maddy is majoring in Elementary Education at San Diego State University (SDSU). She holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, has passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), and has several years of experience in the field of childcare. Maddy’s passion is educating children, and she plans on a career as a school principal or a superintendent. In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading.

Anna

Anna is working towards a pre-med bachelor, currently at San Diego Miramar College. Anna plans on a career in the medical field as a doctor or researcher. When Anna isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, she also enjoys playing tennis, running and spending time with friends and family.

Sankalp

Sankalp is working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Before joining the Mathnasium team, Sankalp worked as an undergraduate research assistant at a material science lab at UCSD. Sankalp plans on a career in the engineering field as an automotive/aerospace engineer. When Sankalp isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, he also enjoys gaming and abstract photography.

Sophie

Sophie is a Psychology major at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Before joining the Mathnasium team, she tutored elementary students in English. Sophie plans on a career in the psychology field as a therapist. When she isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, Sophie also enjoys drawing and taking care of animals.

Jon Carlo

Jon Carlo has a degree in Computer Engineering and Cognitive Science from University of California, San Diego. Before joining the Mathnasium team, Jon Carlo worked as a SWE Intern for two start-ups as well as a tutor for the CSE Department at UCSD. He plans on a career in the tech field as a Software/Data Engineer. When Jon Carlo isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, he also enjoys rock climbing, weightlifting, biking, and video games.

Charles

Charles has a degree in Applied Mathematics from San Diego State University. Before joining the Mathnasium team, he worked as a student intern at a tech development company. Charles plans on a career in the tech field as a programmer. When Charles isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, he also enjoys drawing, reading, singing/music, cooking, hiking, and fitness.

Emma

Emma is working on a degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California San Diego. Before joining the Mathnasium team, she worked as an orientation leader and math tutor. Emma plans on a career in the renewable energy field as a process engineer. When she isn't teaching math at Mathnasium, she also enjoys adventuring around San Diego, hiking, baking and learning new things.
