Mathnasium of Cave Creek is currently looking for individuals who have exceptional math skills and love teaching kids. We love math and are looking for enthusiastic tutors to help kids understand math like never before! To inquire about instructor positions at this learning center, please email us with your resume and completed application (found below). We want to be supportive of our students and help them feel confident about math, whether it’s in filling in gaps in their knowledge or helping them understand their math homework. And the best support we can give them is through great instructors!
Part-time position. Hours will be Sunday 1:00 - 4:00 pm and Monday - Thursday 3:00 – 7:00 pm, depending on demand, mathematic levels you can teach in, and your availability.
Hours are flexible!
Benefits of working at Mathnasium:
Training: We offer training in the proprietary Mathnasium method.
Students: You will work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
No outside work: All Mathnasium work is done at the Mathnasium Center, so you have no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop.
Comfortable instructing students in grades 2-12.
Strong math proficiency through high school level Algebra and Geometry. (Trigonometry through Calculus is a plus!)
High motivation, commitment, and enthusiasm
Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus
Desire to work through at least half of a school year. We do not hire for the summer only.
