Dan Cherico

Dan Cherico

Center Director
Dan is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Chappaqua. Prior to opening his Mathnasium learning center, Dan worked as a manager with Xerox, Avaya and Motorola and as a licensed financial advisor with JPMorgan Chase. He has an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University and a BA in History from Yale University. Having struggled with math as a child, Dan is enthusiastic about helping every student in Chappaqua and its neighboring communities to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. The father of three, Dan also coaches soccer for New York Red Bull.

Diego Weiss

Instructor
Diego is an Instructor at Mathnasium of Chappaqua.
He is currently a junior at Horace Greeley High School. Prior to Mathnasium, Diego worked as both a soccer coach and as a referee. As a Chappaqua resident, teaching at Mathnasium enables Diego to pass down his love of math to local students. Diego is a passionate soccer player and fan. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing with his dog.

Liam Ryan

Instructor
Liam is an instructor at Mathnasium of Chappaqua. Prior to the opening of the center, Liam worked as a middle school math teacher in New York City. He has a BS and MS in Adolescent Education from St. John's University. Mathnasium gives Liam the opportunity to continue doing what he loves, help struggling students with math. He is very excited to work with all students that come through the center. Liam is an avid New York sports fan, loves professional wrestling/metal music/comics, and spending time with friends and family.

Richard Ku

Instructor
Richard is an Instructor at Mathnasium of Chappaqua. He earned advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Richard also has an MS in Mathematics Education from CUNY College. He has taught High School math and AP Calculus in NYC public high schools for 17 years to diverse learners, tutoring students in the afterschool Academic Intervention Services program. Richard is excited about helping students improve their mental math skills, number sense and problem-solving strategies, giving them the confidence they need to succeed.

Toni Ann Malandruccolo

Instructor
Toni Ann is an Instructor at Mathnasium of Chappaqua. She is also currently a Teacher’s Aide at Mt. Pleasant Blythedale School. Previously, Toni Ann was a 4th grade teacher at St. Benedict School in the Bronx. She is a NY Certified Teacher with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education. As a Pleasantville resident, Mathnasium is a wonderful opportunity for her to be able to teach children math within her local community. Toni Ann has three children of her own and loves to take walks in her spare time.
