Mathnasium of Coal Mountain is bursting to tell you about our instructor, Courtney!

Courtney is one of our elite instructors at Mathnasium of Coal Mountain,

whose job it is to teach kids to feel confident and become successful in math. We interviewed Courtney to give you a sneak peak of how great she is:

So, Courtney, What do you love most about teaching here? A: I love feeling like I’m really helping people. I understand how frustrating it can feel to not understand a concept, so it’s extremely rewarding to be able to help students and see them gain confidence in their abilities.

What's your favorite success story at Mathnasium? A: It’s always to joy to work with Gabriel, our very first student. He has gained so much confidence and skill over the several years he’s been attending. The growth of his math skills astounds me sometimes. He can answer some questions faster than I can!

If I was to catch you at your favorite local restaurant, what would it be and what would you order? A: Any sushi restaurant is my favorite! I could eat it for every meal. Tuna is my favorite!

What is your favorite place to go on the weekend? A: Right now, Sanford Stadium to watch the Dawgs! It’s such a fun experience every time (and it doesn’t hurt that we’re undefeated).

Tell me that last movie you saw and enjoyed. A: Coraline! It’s such a perfect halloween movie, and the animation is gorgeous!"
