The folowwing article provides an overview of two children's books: "ISAIAH DUNN IS MY HERO" By Kelly J. Baptist and "IKENGA" By Nnedi Okorafor. Both novels raise thorny questions about the burden and nature of Black manhood and its relationship to Black boyhood.
