Our Mathnasium Commack building may be empty/ locked, since NY's stay at home order was issued, due to social distancing guidelines. However, your neighborhood, friendly Mathnasium of Commack learning center has been and continues to be open. Ever since we closed the building and physical center, we did not skip a single beat in moving our rich learning experience closer to your home!
Our students have continued to receive the same rich, 1-1 instruction that they have always enjoyed at our center. Our students have continued to learn. Our students have continued to improve their math abilities. Through this time, in addition to our existing students, new students have joined us too. All students and parents appreciate the fact that we may be the only consistent, face-to-face instruction they are receiving each week.
We are and have been open, delivering instruction via Mathnasium @Home.
Most students transitioned seamlessly into @Home, as it relates to work and progress. We are also happy to note that their productivity and efficiency in most cases has been better with @Home vs. in-center. (Almost 2.5 times the student productivity in certain cases)
Our Mathnasium of Commack learning center is greater than just physical binders, wall art and furniture. We are Great instructors delivering great instruction. Big personalities, caring hearts, attentive minds. Making math learning fun and making math make sense - The Mathnasium Method - That's OUR CENTER.
With the great response our students have given us, we are very bullish on @Home and anticipate it being a strong medium for our instruction delivery. Even after physical in-center instructions resume at Commack- sometime soon, our students will have the option to learn in the center or continue online with their current Mathnasium@home Experience — whichever option works best for your family.
We do miss seeing our students in-person for now and giving them a high-five for a problem well solved, mastery check conquered, A+ test score, etc. But we do see them on our live @Home sessions and give virtual high-five there.
As always, our student’s well-being and Growth is always our top priority!
