Assistant Center Director

My name is Emily and I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Actuarial Science. I have tutored students in math both formally and informally for over five years. My students ranged from a preschool level up through calculus courses. I have a passion for helping students build not only the skills they need to excel but the confidence in their math abilities that help them succeed even after the tutoring is finished. I firmly believe that math is a learned skill and never an innate ability. Anyone can be good at math! I am excited about the opportunity to help your child succeed and have a stress-free math education!

Lead Instructor

My name is Lori. I began tutoring in junior high school, and that is where my love for teaching was born. I studied at the University of Michigan in the 80’s. I am a certified teacher and I taught high school math for 15 years in the southwestern part of the state. My family then moved to Colorado where I taught middle and high school math for another 15 years. I recently moved home to care for my mother, and I have found a wonderful home at Mathnasium.

Daniel L.

Instructor

My name is Daniel. I am completing my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at Rutgers University and have a true love for math! I tutor math from Pre-K through Calculus. I enjoy working with my Mathnasium students to help them increase their confidence in math. In addition to teaching at Mathnasium I am a Digital Advertising Strategist managing over 30 accounts across multiple ad platforms.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
