My daughter's confidence and grades in Math have grown tremendously since she started attending Mathnasium. As time has gone on, all of her other grades have also drastically improved. My son improved in his math skills in the short time he was at Mathnasium (time constraints kept us from continuing his lessons), but my daughter, who has more time for lessons, has not only begun to master skills she should have learned at school but also seems to have fallen in love with math, which is what I had hoped for! Almost every day now, she asks for math problems to solve at dinner & before bed or in the car waiting for whatever. So grateful she has been able to do this program.

Attending Mathnasium was such an amazing experience for my daughter. She lacked confidence with any maths problems no matter how many times I explained how to tackle them. Many instances of tears and frustration until I started sending her to Mathnasium. The team were/are amazing and my daughter's confidence improved immeasurably and her grade at school increased from a D to an A!!!!

Mathnasium is a wonderful program and I am so lucky to be part of it. Sam helped set up a plan that worked for me and my 3 kids. It was a logistical challenge but well worth it. Chase is quick to respond to any questions I have. My kids love all the tutors and their math skills and scores are quickly improving. Most importantly, my kids are less stressed about math now. Management was great to work with, flexible and responsive. Within a few weeks of his assessment, my high school junior told me he didn't think he needed the deep dive algebra review his testing had indicated and we'd both thought he needed. Staff talked it over with him and worked out a faster-paced skills check, while also offering support in his current higher-level IB math class. He did find some of the tutors were better equipped than others to help with the more advanced coursework. My son opted out of the program sooner than I would've liked due to a busy schedule, and it remains to be seen if the bump up in his math grade will last without the support. It's good to know we can return to Mathnasium easily, without having to search for an available private tutor.

My daughter was lacking in confidence and completely unable to grasp simple concepts given her “fear” of mathematics despite my regular coaching. There were many days and nights of tears born out of frustration because she couldn’t score well on any tests. After bringing her to Mathnasium of Decatur, the change in attitude and confidence has been dramatic. A comple 180 degree transformation! She now enjoys maths, understands the logic needed to solve problems and is scoring well on her school work. No more tears!! I HIGHLY recommend the staff at Mathnasium of Decatur - they are wonderful!

My daughter who’s in the 8th grade has been tutoring with Mathnasium for maybe two years now. Mathnasium has become part of her weekly routine and there’s never any complaints from my daughter. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium.
We’ve had tutors in the past before being recommended by a friend to try Mathnasium. My daughter would come home still confused. With Mathnasium there’s never any confusion. I’m very happy with the results and my daughter is happy and confident with Math.

Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience for our entire family. My kids are less worried about their math homework and tests since they started tutoring sessions with Mathnasium. My oldest in high school breezed through her last math test, finishing early and beaming with confidence! My younger two understand more concepts and complete their work in a more organized fashion. Our children have attended Mathnasium for almost 5 years as a supplement to their school curriculum. The result is that they are both ahead in school and confident math students. Mathnasium has been instrumental to our children’s continued academic success during this time of remote learning. We have increased their visits and both kids have continued to stay ahead of their classes. Our daughter recently took the SSAT private school admissions test and did extremely well in the quantitative portion. We credit her performance on this test to the dedicated Mathnasium instructors. As parents, we consider a strong foundation in math essential to school success. We feel fortunate to have Mathnasium available to help us ensure this success.

My teenager loves math and seeks the extra challenges beyond what is offered in the math curriculum at school. We have signed up Mathnasium memberships on a monthly basis over the years and attended summer camps at Mathnasium in the past. Mathnasium of Decatur has been very flexible in terms of us pausing and restarting our membership when we're available to sign up for a few months of Mathnasium sessions.

We are very pleased with the results. Mathnasium takes the time to pick good instructors. No matter the instructor my daughter is assigned, she’s always able to get a full understanding of the material that’s given. Also, helping with school homework is the best. The one on one gives my daughter the extra help she needs to maintain her grades. She use to struggle in math and now it one of her favorite subjects.

Our 7-year-old daughter really likes her Mathnasium sessions, which is saying a lot!
When schools moved to distance learning, she started getting really frustrated and defeated when trying to do her math assignments. She couldn't grasp the new concepts, couldn't remember the tricks for things they'd already learned, and assignments ended in tears. Now, she's feeling more confident with her school lessons and comes away from her Mathnasium sessions with a big smile.

Matthew has been working with our son for the past few summers. Our son has been able to catch up and become proficient in the skills required of him. They were able to help bring on the light in a dark tunnel. My daughter was always a good student but her test scores for math looked differently. When it was time to apply for upper grade private school is when we discovered she suffered a learning gap in math related to childhood illness. After starting with Mathnasium to help with the SSAT we continued and she has been able to see her dreams come true out of 8 boarding schools she was able to get into 6 including local schools Marist , St. Pius and Woodward Academy. Thanks to all your tutors and methodology she has been successful!! Asheville Blues here she comes !

We have been sending both our children to Mathnasium since they were in the 1st and 3rd grade. We chose to begin Mathnasium as an enrichment to their school math because they were learning Math in a second language at school. We never wanted them to fall behind in such a critical subject. It has been one of the best decisions we could have made as a family. Our now 4th grade daughter is performing above grade level in her class and our 6th grade son has already covered all of the material he is learning in his high achievers math class at Mathnasium and has an A+ average. Both kids enjoy math and are not at all intimidated by it. We plan to continue Mathnasium throughout their school career to maintain this confidence and skill level. We feel strongly the strong foundation Mathnasium has provided the kids will serve them well at school and eventually in the college admissions process.

My daughter has been struggling with math for the past several years. So we decided to try Mathnasium. The reviews I read were fantastic not only at the Decatur location, but all over the country. That said a lot to me about what type of company it is. Then a friend of mine told me both her kids went and they LOVED it. I was thinking " Really? They LOVE it? Right. Since I had already looked into Marhnasium a couple of years ago, but we couldn't afford it at the time, I knew that now was the time to put her in it. Sam, the owner has been great. I see him there working with the kids. Chase is very nice and great with the kids too. After the first session I asked my daughter how it was hand she said she actually liked it. REALLY? You LIKED it? She had been 12 times in the last month and not once did she hesitate to go, in fact most if the time she asked to go. I can definitely tell a difference in her confidence right away. She is so excited when she gets her card stamped. Great job Mathnasium!! I couldn't recommend them enough.

My daughter says I should have brought her there a long time ago. Her confident in math and science has improved . Wish we had started her earlier in the program . She states the tutors there explain math the best. She has used teachers, private tutors , online tutoring programs and this thus far has been the best . She performs better with the one on one interaction in small groups of up to 4 kids. The repetition performance of the skills seal the deal for her as well. When she understands a concept well she will fly through the worksheets. When she doesn't that when you can tell she has not mastered the subject and need additional assistance.
