Prior to opening this center, he worked as an accountant at a company in Hazleton, PA and before that, he worked as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual. That’s why when he learned about Mathnasium through a friend and saw how the Mathnasium Method has helped other students, he decided to open one of his own with his sister Nishu. He truly believes that Mathnasium can change children’s attitude towards math and help develop a deep understanding of “number sense”.

Angela Leonard, Instructor
Hello! My name is Angela Leonard. I graduated from Clarks Summit University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education. I have always enjoyed the challenges that come with studying mathematics, and it is my desire to work alongside students as they navigate those challenges. I have tutored students of all ages in elementary and high school, and I have seen firsthand how valuable a strong foundation in mathematics can be both inside and outside of the classroom.
Rachel Dempsey, Instructor
Hi, I'm Rachel, and I attend Abington Heights High School! My favorite subject in school has always been math, and I hope and plan to go to college with some sort of math major. I've competed in many school math competitions and plan to continue in the future, while tutoring others to help them further their math education. I was actually a student at the Mathnasium for a while, but after I finished my learning plan, I thought about how much fun it would be to help others in math, too. I, then, was lucky enough to be hired as an instructor, and I love being able to interact with the students, while simultaneously helping them learn math.
Laura Romanovich, Instructor
Hello! I'm Laura Romanovich and I'm a 2014 graduate of Valley View High School and a 2018 graduate of The University of Scranton, where I majored in Biology and Philosophy. I have been tutoring math in various capacities since I was in middle school, and have worked with students at every level from elementary through college calculus. I enjoy the creative problem solving and logic that underlies the field of mathematics. Over the years, I have developed a love for working with young students and seeing their skills and confidence build over time. I have found that teaching is something I am passionate about, and must say my parents were right when they told me they see me as a math teacher when I grow up.
Aside from math, I'm passionate about ecological research and conservation. I also work as a marine biology research assistant and love spending time hiking outside. I look forward to getting to know your student and being able to inspire them to learn and grow!
