Ben Schmiedicke

Lead Instructor
Ben earned his math degree and teaching credential from California State University Northridge in Los Angeles, California. After getting his degree, he taught math for two years. Growing up, he learned to love the matter-of-fact nature of math, and how there were multiple ways to come to the same conclusion. From this, he hopes to help his students understand math and why it works, and the Mathnasium method helps him do that. Outside of work, Ben enjoys travelling, soccer, and coffee.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
