Are you CRAZY about math? We are always seeking highly skilled, friendly, out-going and motivated part time instructors who have a strong mathematics background and excellent communication skills. Preference will be given to instructors who can work every day that the center is open and intend on staying year-round.

We hire degreed math instructors and also students that are studying to become teachers (early childhood, elementary, middle school, or high school) with strong mathematical background or majoring in mathematics, engineering, physics, etc. The students at Mathnasium will range from pre-K (Early Childhood) to AP calculus, and also require ACT/SAT prep. 

Our instructors will use Mathnasium designed curriculum to instruct in a 3:1 setting and also provide 1:1 when required.  There are no homework assignments for students and no lessons for the teachers to prepare. You will be trained to use the Mathnasium curriculum and provide personalized mathematics instruction in various content areas such as Early Childhood, Elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and ACT prep. Continual training in the Mathnasium method is a mandatory term of employment. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team.

Preferred:
1. Certified teacher with valid New Jersey teaching certification or minimum Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

5. Must be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with students, parents and co-workers.

SPECIAL NOTE ON HOURS: We ask that instructors be available a minimum of three days per week. Scheduling is flexible. Preference will be given to those with the ability to work at least every-other Saturday. We won’t hire someone who can only work one or two days per week or only on weekends. First preference will be given to instructors who can work at least three days per week and intend on staying for a year or more.

BASE PAY: Hourly. Negotiable; based on experience.
