Mona Goyal, Owner
Mona has a Master's Degree in Information Technology; a Masters in Computer Applications ;and a Bachelor's in Commerce. She also taught English to college students while living in India. Prior to becoming a Mathnasium owner, she was a Business Analyst with a leading software solutions provider for advertising agencies.
Prior to that, Mona was a Business Analyst with the United Nations. After quitting a full time job to care for her newborn son, Mona discovered Mathnasium while searching for a child friendly business opportunity. The underlying core values of the Mathnasium brand and their mission to make a difference in the community inspired her to open a Mathnasium in East Windsor.
Mona looks forward to inspiring children and believes that most kids do not “hate” math but are just intimidated by it. She is looking forward to sharing in the joy and cheers of her students when they “get” it!! Originally from India and now settled in Monroe, NJ, Mona enjoys spending time with her daughter and son. For relaxation she loves to read books and spend time with the children doing puzzles, playing games, and just having fun!

Larry Martinek, Creator of the Mathnasium Method
Larry Martinek, Chief Instructional Officer, Developer of Mathnasium Program.
Larry has spent his entire career finding a better way to teach math. From inner city to public schools, to acclaimed magnet schools, to leading private and parochial schools, Larry has served as both a classroom teacher and as an educational consultant. He has designed curriculum, teaching strategies, and teaching materials designed to help students and teachers learn math more effectively. He has trained teachers in the art and science of boosting students' ability to “do” math, thereby increasing students' math scores and feeling of self-worth. Larry is the developer of Mathnasium’s educational program – one of the most comprehensive and innovative curriculas ever produced for teaching math.
While Larry is not an Instructor at our Center, he is a valuable asset we can call on to ask about specific students' scenarios for guidance and advice. This has helped to make visits more productive and enjoyable for many of our students.
Elaine Weil, Center Director
Anurva Saste, Instructor
Anurva is an undergraduate student at Rutgers University pursing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She joined Mathnasium because she loves working with children, and finds it really fulfilling to be a part of a child’s academic progress as well as simply brightening up their day! She believes it is true that one learns more by teaching others, and she strives to make every child feel comfortable with any mathematical concept – so that one day, they learn to enjoy solving math problems.
Favorite Number: 1 - 21, because it is the name of a band that I really enjoy.
Favorite Math Joke: Why couldn’t the angle get a loan? Its parents wouldn’t cosine.
