Rentha

Rentha

Lead Instructor
Rentha graduated from Francis Marion University with a BBA in Accounting. She has held multiple positions in Florence area banking. Her most recent position was Vice President in Accounting and Contract Administration. Rentha has been involved with home-schooling for the past seven years, successfully directing the graduation of her daughter through high school. This experience has affirmed Rentha's passion for teaching, with math being her favorite subject. Mathnasium allows her to share her love of math with youth in the community.

Marqueis

Instructor
A graduate of Francis Marion University, Marqueis taught in the public system and is now a high school math teacher at Trinity Collegiate School. Marqueis has a heart for helping people and especially loves teaching higher level math. He's been a Mathnasium instructor since 2014.

Ed

Instructor
Husband, father, grandfather. Retired from AT&T as a facility designer. Enjoys the challenge of helping young ones grasp the abstract concept of numbers and calculations. Some more challenging than others but always rewarding.

Lilly

Instructor
Lilly Huiet is a senior at South Florence High School. After graduation, she plans to go to college and major in chemistry with the goal of attending medical school. Lilly has a passion for math and will be taking calculus 3 this year at Francis Marion University.

Susan

Instructor
Susan Goldstein is a former elementary school teacher who has been in Florence for 30 years. Now retired, when she's not at Mathnasium you might find her at the gym, walking her dog, working in her yard, solving puzzles, or reading.

Anna

Instructor
Anna is a nursing student in the Francis Marion University Honors Program and hopes to specialize in pediatrics upon graduating. She attended Wilson High School as part of the International Baccalaureate program. Instructing at Mathnasium allows her to combine her passion for math with her love of working with young students.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
