We're Safely Resuming In-Person Instruction!
May 22, 2020
We’re pleased to share that our center will begin our first phase of in-person instruction on Tuesday, May 26. We can’t wait to see our students again!
Our decision to resume was made carefully in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Going forward, students will have the option to learn in the center or continue online with Mathnasium@home — whichever option works best for your family.
As always, your child's well-being is our top priority. To maintain our standards of precautions, we are setting the following guidelines:
Staff and students will be asked to wear a mask while in center. Students may wear their own if they have one, but we will also have a supply of masks available for use within the center.
All persons will be asked to wash or sanitize hands upon arrival and before leaving.
Everyone should cooperate with social distancing rules at the tables - all student chairs are spaced at a minimum of 6 feet apart. Students will be assigned seats upon arrival, and are expected to stay in their zone throughout their session.
We are limiting the number of students who can attend the center at any one time so that we can observe social distancing guidelines. Sessions are scheduled online, and while walk-in sessions won’t be possible for the time being we do have flexibility to offer sessions for last-minute needs.
Our waiting area will be closed until further notice. Please use the parking spots by our door to pick up and drop off your children. If you are waiting in your car during their session, please be mindful of other parents that may be dropping off or picking up their children.
We are implementing a comprehensive disinfection and protection protocol to make sure that all surfaces are clean and disinfected. Every surface will be cleaned before opening, between sessions, and at the end of the day.
We will be checking students in and out as well as preparing and disinfecting binders to prevent cross-contamination.
Students or staff that are exhibiting symptoms or have been in close contact with someone showing symptoms are not allowed in the Center. We understand that colds and allergies are common, but we must make sure that we are taking every precaution to ensure the health of our staff and students.
