Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Sean

Lead Instructor
Sean is a professional tutor from Warwick, NY, and has his BA in Mathematics from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, NY. He enjoys long walks with Meshu (his dog), playing with Meshu, playing different video games, and last but not least, hanging out with Meshu. While in school, Sean was active in many theater productions including those with the Warwick Valley High School Drama Club and the Riverdale Repertory Company. He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 45 based out of Warwick. Sean's passion for math has brought him to Mathnasium so that he can help as many students as possible get through their math classes and help them better understand how fun working with numbers can really be! And finally, just remember that not all math puns are terrible! Just sum of them are!

Entela

Instructor
Entela is a dedicated tutor with a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic success. With 10+ years of experience in tutoring, Entela has worked with students from 5th grade to college levels. Having completed a bachelor’s in mathematics and a Master of Science in Education, Entela possesses a solid foundation in subjects of tutoring, including Arithmetics, Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus, and more. She is from Chester and speaks Albanian and Greek fluently. Outside work, Entela enjoys traveling and swimming. Her favorite number is “magic” 9 because if you multiply a number by 9 and add all the digits of the new number together, the sum will always add up to 9. 9 X 2 = 18, 1+8 = 9 9 X 3 = 27, 2 + 7 = 9 … Her favorite math joke is: Where do Math teachers go on vacation? To the time square. With a proven track record of success, Entela is excited to bring her expertise and commitment to making a difference and helping students achieve their success. Engaging young students in mathematics involves providing them with supportive mentors and showcasing inspiring role models in the field. By connecting with successful mathematicians and educators, young students can visualize their own potential and feel encouraged to pursue their mathematical passions. Her favorite quote is: “Mathematics reveals its secrets to those who approach it with pure love, for its own beauty.” By Archimedes

She must be plotting something! After Lindsey graduates high school she plans to pursue a career in business, like her parents.
