Chris Brickley

Center Owner
After completing a B.A. degree from Purdue University in 2003, Chris worked in the land title industry for three years before becoming the Portfolio Manager and Managing Broker of a private real-estate development firm. In 2009, Chris completed a Finance-concentrated Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and by 2011 he had opened two Mathnasium centers. Chris and his team are very proud to say that during the last thirteen years these two centers have instructed over 1,700 individual students (and counting!). Chris and his director, Cari Ingram, are committed to hiring and training only the best math instructors, and look forward to helping children in our area continue to improve and excel in math!

Aliza

Assistant Center Director
Aliza has been involved with Mathnasium in one way or another for a little over 10 years now. Originally, she started as a student who struggled with math herself. Mathnasium helped grow her understanding and confidence in her math ability! She understands firsthand how it feels to feel confused or not confident when it comes to math. Her goal and hope as an instructor is to help any students that may feel that same way.

Neil

Assistant Center Director
Neil is currently studying Secondary Education at Indiana University South Bend. He has previously tutored elementary students during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when schools first shut down, focusing primarily on math and English. Neil also acts as a Rocket Football and Cheer coach, a youth football league that serves children from the fourth to sixth grades. In his spare time, Neil likes to play strategy games such as the Civilization series and watch Historical Documentaries wherever they can be found.

Kristine

Lead Instructor
Kristine is a student at Indiana University South Bend pursuing a degree in Accounting. She finds great value in helping others learn techniques that make sense. At IUSB Kristine is also involved with the Titans Mentoring Titans program and the Accounting Association. In her free time, Kristine enjoys spending time with her family and learning free forms of dance including Jazz and Waltz.

Felix

Instructor
Felix is a Sophomore at Penn High School who plans to pursue a career in mathematics. He finds great value in providing quality math education. At Penn, he is a part of the Symphonic Orchestra, DECA, and TEAMS. In his free time, he enjoys playing the violin and piano and reading.

Areej

Instructor
Areej is a rising sophomore at Penn High School. She is highly involved in her school; competing in extracurriculars such as Spell Bowl, Debate and Model U.N. while also involved in clubs like Key Club, chess club, & student council. She encourages students to not only understand their math but to excel in it. In her free time, she loves to figure skate, try new foods, sewing and most importantly watch Netflix.

Rudra

Instructor
Rudra is a junior at Penn High School. He enjoys learning about the STEM and medical field and hopes to someday pursue a career in them. At Penn, he is involved in Freshmen Mentoring, Medical Club, Kingsmen Tutoring, and Key Club. At Mathnasium, he wants students to enjoy learning about math the way he does. In his spare time, Rudra enjoys watching sports, spending quality time with friends and family, and watching Netflix.

Shayan

Instructor
Shayan is a junior at Penn High School. He loves learning about the world and aspires to become an engineer in the future. At Penn, he is involved in extracurriculars such as Model U.N. and Academic Super Bowl. At Mathnasium, he strives to teach students that math doesn’t have to be boring. In his free time, Shayan loves watching sports, listening to music, and watching TV shows.

Anika

Instructor
Anika is a junior at Penn High School who currently wants to pursue a career in the medical field. She is involved in Debate Club, Key Club, Freshman Mentoring, Kingsmen Community Care, and is the secretary for Medical Club. Anika hopes to help students understand math and grow to like it. In her free time, Anika likes to binge watch TV shows, movies, and spend time with her family and friends.

Iryna

Instructor
Iryna is a licensed elementary teacher. She currently teaches art in a South Bend elementary school. Iryna loves to implement math and literacy into the art making process. She also has experience teaching six grade math and conducting math intervention in other elementary grade levels. In her spare time, Iryna loves to spend time with her two kids, as well as explore different art forms and techniques, such as watercolor painting and embroidery.

Zaina

Instructor
Zaina is a Junior at Penn High School who aspires to pursue a career in the medical field. While at Penn, she is heavily involved in extracurriculars, some of which include DECA, Model UN, Key Club, Tennis, Kingsmen Against Cancer, Handwritten Hearts, and Student Council. Zaina strongly believes in giving back to her community, which she hopes to continue at Mathnasium through helping students reach their full potential in math. Outside of school, Zaina loves playing golf, hanging out with friends, and traveling all over the world with her parents

Ethan

Instructor
Ethan is a junior at Penn High School trying to prepare for his dream college. He just came to the United States from China not long ago. From a young age, school has been what he looks forward to the most, and math is his best subject. He often discusses math problems with his classmates and enjoys helping other students understand their questions. Outside of school, Ethan enjoys playing basketball and practicing the cello, which he has played for eleven years!

Dylan

Instructor
Dylan is a senior at Penn High School who loves to travel with his family. At Penn, he is involved in DECA, Chess Club, and FCA. After high school, he plans to study finance in college. In his free time he enjoys watching and playing sports.

Connor

Instructor
Connor is a senior at Penn High School who loves science and medicine. Beyond this, he adores helping people and thinks that help should always be readily available. At school, he participates in a number of extracurriculars but his favorite ones are those in which he can give back, or those that involve some competition. His favorite thing to do is spend time with loved ones.

Hailey

Instructor
Hailey is a Junior at Penn High School who has an interest in the medical field and wants to pursue it in the future. She is involved in Kingsman Tutoring, Freshman Mentoring, Med Club, and Key Club. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her loved ones, traveling, and watching movies.
