Mathnasium of Green Hills is pleased to announce our Student of the Month! We love to celebrate the success of our students, and since success at Mathnasium is the norm, it can be pretty hard to choose just one of them. :)

Adam, Charles, Paul, and Heather are the main reasons my daughter kept going there. She loved working with them and now loves math because of all of them. My daughter understands Math now more than she did before and is more confident in her ability to do it solo. I have never felt more love from a place than I do with Mathnasium in Green Hills. They really are patient and work with the children.

I continue to marvel at how much my son values the time he spends with Mathnasium coaches. Clearly his confidence in tackling math grows, but I also see independence in learning and problem solving. We had the good fortune to be at the Green Hills location and knew some of the coaches in person before everything shut down. So, now, for the last 4 to 5 months, I really enjoy hearing the rapport and “chat” as Eliot proceeds with his session on line.
To build and maintain attention span from an 11 year old that can sometimes exceed an hour on the computer ...wow! Thank you so much!

Our daughter has been working with Mathnasium for about 18 months and has made some significant strides in her math abilities. We love having a variety of instructors and it works well with her learning style. For us, it's perfect. They have also been very adaptable through the pandemic and we've felt very comfortable going back into the center. Lastly, they have worked with us if we've needed to go "on hold" due to some family issues. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased!

The directors and instructors at Mathnasium are professional and knowledgeable educators. They were able to effectively motivate my 5th grader pre-pandemic and were able to provide needed structure and instruction during school closures and distance learning. I would highly recommend Holly and the team at Mathnasium Green Hills.

Mathnasium has been a huge blessing for our family! Our four daughters have dyslexia. Mathnasium has been able to break down the math concepts into pieces that they understand and then reinforces these concepts over time to ensure retention. We highly recommend them for all types of learners. They help take the struggle out of math!

Our daughter absolutely loves going to Mathnasium and we've seen a really change in her confidence. She likes going and working on her skills and has transferred them directly into the classroom. On days that she has homework that she needs help with, it has been wonderful for her to be able to ask questions about it and learn the steps to use. She has also made Mathnasium one of her things to do on Saturdays and likes coming on the weekend without having to worry about her homework. She wants to continue Mathnasium in high school school as she knows she will continue to get the support and skills that she needs. We are so thankful!

My son and daughter had some gaps in mathematics. They were both B students. Since we have been going to Mathnasium my son and daughter are both A students and my daughter finished Honors Math last year with a combined average of 98 out of 100 possible points. And they are both far exceeded the school and state level in their TN testing scores. We love our facility .

Holly and the whole staff at Green Hills Mathnasium bring humor, curiosity and gentleness to each interaction with not only my son, but every child. I sit and wait while my son has his tutoring session, chat with the friendly staff and observe the interactions between tutors and children. The atmosphere is one of support and calm, optimal learning is happening as a result. I'm beyond pleased.

Definitely an investment, but the instructors are clearly passionate about math and helping kids learn. Love the ease of coming in at times that fit into your schedule, no appointments needed. I never would have expected a sense of community around tutoring, but it's evident. A very thoughtful, dedicated staff.

Our daughter was struggling with some basic concepts that she obviously missed in 6-7 grade. We signed her up for Mathnasium and in about 2 months, she dramatically improved. Her test scores and grades show it. The format has been great for her. I appreciate the flexibility they have shown when she has come in with math homework, but at the same time they have stuck to the plan that was generated in the first assessment. The staff is great and amazingly enough, she really likes to go! I highly recommend Mathnasium.

We have a 14 year old who has fallen behind in math. I talked to several tutors and just wasn’t confident that we’d get someone who could teach her the material that she hasn’t yet understood. I stopped in one day at Mathnasium and talked to one of the teachers there and it was exactly what she needed. The format works for her. The assessment and the resulting plan provided a tangible map and timeframe for her to commit to. And, best of all, she’s “getting it” and enjoys going. The method works!

My daughter struggled in Math and she endured self esteem issues because of it. Mathnasium was able to boost her confidence and with 1 on 1 assistance her grades improved dramatically over the course of 2 weeks. She went from 58 to 82 and she’s very pleased. I am very pleased! I look forward to seeing her progress more with Mathnasium’s help!

Love it! Only wish there was a second pricing option for those who use the services less frequently. For example, in December, we were only able to come 1-2 times. It’s expensive and a financial sacrifice for our family. A tiered pricing structure would be nice and make the services accessible to more families.

Mathnasium has a great environment for learning. We needed help with our daughter's math skills. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I greatly appreciate the way they challenged my daughter when she ran into problems. They talk through the problem and use reason to help flush out a possible solution. We are very happy with our experience.
