Chris Woodard, Franchise Owner
Chris is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Greenville/Taylors. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Chris was Director of Math Tutoring Services and Senior Instructor at USC-Upstate. He has a BA in Mathematics from Wofford College and an MS in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University. Having seen how being unprepared in math can affect college students, Chris decided Mathnasium was the perfect way to help students learn and enjoy mathematics.
Sapana Patel, Center Director
Sapana graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Sapana plans on going to graduate school for her MBA. During her free time Sapana enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Courtney Steadman, Instructor
Courtney is a recent graduate of USC-Upstate. She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Mathmatics. Courtney is a Golden State Warriors fan (Go Chef Curry!) and loves going to movies with friends.
Joshua Mahon, Instructor
Josh majored in Music Education through Southern Wesleyan University and received additonal teaching certification for Middle school Mathematics. Josh has been with us for 2 years and he applies the methods he learns at mathnasium to his classroom so many more students can gain and apply numerous concepts.
Jennifer Griggs, Instructor
Jennifer is currently a sophmore at Furman University. She is majoring in both Chemistry and Asian Studies. Jennifer has been with Mathnasium Greer for two years and she enjoys watching kids grow to their full potential.
Kaleb Hood, Instructor
Kaleb is currently a sophmore at Brown University and he is majoring in Classics. At Brown University Kaleb is an editor for the Brown Classical Journal and also part of the Brown Club Swim team. Kaleb enjoys cooking, reading and swimming during his free time.
Heena Patel, Instructor
Heena is currently a freshman at Converse College. She plans on majoring in Biology and Math and wants to pursue a career in the medical field. During her free timeHeena enjoys volunteering in her community through the various clubs she is a part of.
Christine Irving, Instructor
Christine graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. She moved to South Carolina from Chicago four years ago. During her free time Christine enjoys horse back riding and reading.
Emily Peeler, Instructor
Emily is a senior at Furman University. She hopes to graduate with degrees in both German Studies and Math-Econ. In her free time, she enjoys making music and films.
