Our daughter has improved her knowledge of mathematics and pays more attention to learning mathematics since she's started going to Mathnasium. She isn't always enthused about going to what she still sees as an extension of school beyond the school day. Nonetheless, she doesn't resist going, and that's telling. Once she's there, it's clear that she enjoys interacting with her instructors and with other students, and her visits there mean she's learning a little more than she would have learned only at school. Her mathematics scores at school have improved. Overall, we're happy with the Mathnasium program. I do wish, however, that no so many sweets were offered as rewards. Perhaps a parent-teacher brainstorm meeting could produce some new alternative rewards. Also, having some larger and more tangible rewards that children can strive and save for might be a good idea. The children themselves might offer some clues as to what it is they really would go for.

Before it was a stressful event to even think about mentioning Math. This how my daughter’s outlook towards Math has changed….

Most of the student teachers are responsive and responsible. The classes are helfpul.
But there was one class, the teacher was absent for more than 15m, and not responsive, and another time, the teacher had technical difficulty, spent the first 10m to get connected.
Hope these won't happen again.
Also, please let us know what we should do when these situations happen again.

My kids always look forward to go to Mathnasium. I have seen big change in how they approach the subject now. Math is part of their life and they became confortable with it. The tutors are great. Very professional and know how to work with kids. I would recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a reliable and safe place for children to learn and enjoy math.

We have had a great experience with Mathnasium and our son is learning a lot. The owners and instructors have been very engaging and have pin pointed areas where focus is needed, what we can do at home to assist and bringing him up to speed before the school year starts. Our son LOVES attending and really enjoys Mathnasium!

Our son William M is making great progress- gaining almost a full year of math knowledge in less than than half a year of tutoring. Despite being math resistant, William goes willingly each time, gives his best effort and finds the staff helpful and friendly. can say my wife and I are incredibly happy with the services at Mathnasium of Herndon.
The only area of growth we see is to let parents know more regularly which skills he is attempting to master so we can look for progress in those specific areas when we work with him at home.

My kids enjoy going to Mathnasium and that is a different experience for them and US compared to where they were going before. If they are not enjoying what they are doing then I guess we are not getting the outcome we desire in the long run. Above all we see a difference in their grades at school and in general how they approach Math.
Happy so far and I would recommend Mathnasium Herndon Branch to anyone and we are already doing so when we speak with others. I also suggest they put an add in the Bolly FM channel 102.9

Our daughter is very happy at Mathnasium. She gets individualized assistance, whenever she has a question. She gets to learn different things, she gets to move on to another concept when she is done with one. When she has a test at school, the teachers help her in prepping for it. Much better than Kumon.

Mathnesium has helped my son improve his confidence in tackling multi step problems which had alwsys been a nightmare for him. He has not only been able to keep up with the AAP curicullum but has been thriving. He was recently selected as one of the math stars in his class which is a great achievement considering he recently moved to this program.
