Chris Hofer, Owner
Chris graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and completed coursework for a minor in special education. Chris has several years of teaching experience. After becoming aware of his own children's struggles with mathematics, Chris decided to bring the Mathnasium Method to the Greensboro and High Point communities.

Angie Moore, Center Director
Angie started with Mathnasium as the Assistant Director of Greensboro location in December of 2010. She is an extroverted people-person with strong customer service skills. Prior to working at Mathnasium, Angie worked as a stay-at-home mom to her six children for 21 years. This gives Angie a unique and personal understanding of the challenges and frustrations that parents face when their child is struggling academically. She is passionate about ensuring that each student is having a positive experience and thriving in the Mathnasium enviroment. Angie loves when kids have that "lightbulb" moment and realize for the first time that they can do math!
Caylin Harris, Assistant Director in training
David Renfroe, Instructor
David graduated high school from Southwest Guilford and earned his Bachelor Degree in Mathematics: Actuarial Science from Liberty University. He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has received several math awards including Best Math Student, which he received throughout several grades, and Highest Graduate Math Achievement Award which he received his Senior year at Southwest due to his perfect SAT Math score as well as his perfect AP Statistics and AP Calculus scores. He enjoys helping others in math, which he has done since middle school. While attending Liberty University, he has continued this by helping numerous college students with a variety of math topics while also helping others at local high schools. David loves Mathnasium because he gets to teach the subject he loves while also learning new techniques in the process. He also feels that there is no better feeling in the world than seeing a child understand something for the first time.
Rahma Syed - Instructor
Rahma is currently attending North Carolina A&T University pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering. She has been a peer instructor for Fundamentals of Algebra and Trigonometry at NC A&T. In her free time, she enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
