At Mathnasium, we help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. Children who consistently

Mathnasium helped my niece understand math in a fun easy going environment. She did not mind having to go twice a week and actually really enjoyed it. After 6 months she is so much more confident in her skills and is doing great in the classroom. Her teacher even asked me for the name of where we sent her to recommend to other families.

The owners, the instructors, everyone was amazing. They worked with my daughter even when she seemed withdrawn or she wasn't participating in the work actively. They really strived to make the whole experience rewarding, fun and goal oriented. I wish I had a Mathnasium when I was growing up. It was our core math curriculum for her 3rd grade year while we homeschooled during 2020.

My daughter went from struggling with math to 4.0 grade average with mathnasium, but it does take some time since she had to catch up in her math skills. She loves the instructors and schedules a session almost every day and instead of literally crying she is now confident in her math abilities, again it does take time due to the way the program works but over all I think this has been a great tool, and she is building math skills over the summer instead of regressing. The cost isn't cheap but my daughter self esteem is worth the cost.

Mathnasium has been a life-saver during the pandemic. But even before that, our kids made great strides in math with Mathnasium because of the thorough, consistent curriculum. My daughter's language has changed from "I hate math" to showing initiative and pride figuring out math problems that come up in daily life. For my son, it has kept him from getting bored with math. He gets pushed along in ways the school teacher couldn't accommodate due to class sizes and other restrictions. My kids enjoy the motivator system with star cards and get along with the tutors. Staff are kind, patient, and communicate well about progress and scheduling.

Our don loves attending Mathnasium and has grown tremendously in his math skills. He has confidence and a willingness to work harder and smarter on grade-level math. We felt the need to enroll him in Mathnasium because he wasn't being taught adequately enough to pursue a career in engineering after high school.

I appreciate and am grateful that Mathnasium truely cares about the success of my child. Even though she still doesn't care much for math due to it being a difficult subject for her, my daughter looks forward to her lessons due the reward incentives they provide. I also like that your child is able to progress at their own pace. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Staff is trained well. They taught my son math concepts in ways that helped him understand it better as well as useful shortcuts that made it easier. He struggled with his confidence in math before we started going to mathnasium. Now his confidence is very strong. He even dug out his old rubix cube that was a birthday present years ago and started looking up the formulas to solve it and then testing himself for speed. The staff is nice and friendly and the facilities (when we get to go) are always clean and organized. We will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

Excellent! The owner and all the instructors are very caring and helpful. They are also accommodating and ensure distance learning is available to students during this Corona virus pandemic. My daughter loves the way they teach and explain math. I seen an improvement in her math skills. I highly recommend Mathnasium of Hillsboro.

My daughter has gone from an F student and failing almost everything to pulling Bs on her tests and quizzes and shes only been going a few months. Its incredible to see her self esteem rise and hear her say how easy math seems to be becoming. Mathnasium has been a great choice and investment for my daughters success in math.

My son, Tayn, is always looking towards attending his Math class and am so happy I enrolled him at Mathnasium. He has not only improved his independent thinking of solving mathematical problems ... he has also improved his empirical and logical knowledge. The school also has warm loving teachers which is fundamental to the life of their students.

We started Mathnasium in January 2019. My daughters are 11 and 9, and they really enjoy Mathnasium. I am happy to see my girls learn some new strategies that truly help. Both of my daughters are below grade level in Math, so we are thankful that we now have Mathnasium to help them make strides. The whole staff at our Mathnasium is wonderful, and we feel fortunate to have such great people helping our daughters.
